oasis789: > the gameplay is so varied that no 2 playthroughs are the same

this is interesting, is it just randomization of events in any playthrough, or that similar events also play out differently?
Both actually. Each situation has multiple solutions, but each solution also has multiple potential outcomes, sometimes determined by randomness, sometimes by your in-game situation.

Is that a proposition ? :D

That is really cool. Man I wish new games had that kind of depth. Even the so-called procedural games are mostly superficially procedural. i.e. new xcom
Thank you Licurg for promoting games.

Not in, just wanted to thank you and +rep you.

Oh and by the way, buy Sacrifice ;)

Well, erm, ah...;-p
I am in.

Thank you, Licurg!

Thank you, GoatBoy!

Thank you, anonymous donor !

Thank you, AngloZaxxon
Lovely game. Completely sucks you in. It's actually not hard to pick up and start playing, and after awhile you get a hang of how to manage everything. Countless hours of fun. Just as addictive as Civilization and one of the most "under the radar" games of the late 90s!

I'm in for Nicole28!
Count me in !

And thank you very much to all of you !
In for Air-Trigger.
Thank you.
And we have a 5th copy of King of Dragon Pass, from an anonymous donor !
Okay.... I can't see what you people love so much in this game. But that's probably because I never tried...

Telnet: I already have the game, yet I wanted to wish you all the luck in promoting the game.
avatar
Licurg: Nevermind...
avatar
TekZero: Sure, I'd be willing to give it a shot.

And how is Eador? It looks pretty awesome. But I haven't heard much about it.
avatar
Licurg: Just as awesome, but in different ways. Don't have the second one, so couldn't say.
Does it have a hot seat mode where the players play a scenario (like in the HOMM franchise) ?

It's one of the greatest things about that series, I've never beaten the campaigns in them, but spent quite a lot of time in hot-seat.

How is it in Eador?

I'm not in as I already have the game (and if I didn't, I'd buy it - for 1.49$ it's a steal).

+1 for spreading the word

DrYaboll: How is it in Eador?
Eador: Genesis has no hot-seat I'm afraid, it's strictly a single-player experience. I think Eador: MoaBW either has hot-seat, or will be added by the producers, but I'm not sure as I don't have it myself.
Given current conditions, I have no shame in begging. I am in.

Thanks to the OP and to the anonymous and not-so-anonymous donators.

Edit: I'm opting-out now, since I actually ended-up winning the game from another thread. Thanks cdnred!
