ShadowWulfe: What about GOG having trouble securing compatibility?
If it was a compatibility issue, that would be different. But I can't really see what makes Alien Crossfire so much different than the original game.
And I also don't like the timing. There are two possibilities
GOG rushed to get those out before Christmas. Which would be really awesome on GOGs part.
or
GOG held them back until Christmas for a nice PR stunt.
Now what is more likely?
Many people, like me, bought the EA games on release because of the promise that the expansions would come. And those are some high class games we are talking about here. It's over a year since the games got released and over half a year since an EA rep said their wasn't an issue from their side.
So yeah, excuse me if I am not exactly jumping for praise here.
