Its fucking awesome.
Not quite so much with the comedy songs which is a bit of a shame but there is always the first album for that. It sounds like Brendan Small is really going fot it in this album though showing a lot more of the breadth of his talent. Anyway here is a linkie to a song.

I know what you mean about the material being less comedic this time around (which is sort of sad) but I actually really like the album. Whereas the previous album was a full on parody that happened to contain some awesome pieces of metal, this album seems to be more mature, an actual band instead of a cartoon satire band. Obviously the music is still ridiculously over the top (as it should be) but it gives me hope that even if the show ever dies that the band might continue to make great metal.
Basically, it's good shit.

Gotta agree, had a few listens on youtube, and it sounds a lot more serious this time around. I like it. And it's got Gene Hoglan on drums. Which is amazingness.

I keep the Dethalbum in my truck at all timers... knowing there is another makes me scream with glee... this man should only produce music and i will eat the bloody doritos from his dethlair!
So happy... this is an absolute buy right now.

But if that where the case we wouldnt have the likes of Home Movies and all his other awesome stuff. The man is annoyingly talented. Its just such a bastard to get hold of Adult Swim stuff here it has only very recwently started showing up in shops and even then in very small numbers.

Just bought the deluxe edition.. Has all the songs plus some bonus as music videos... 52 minutes of heavy metal cartoon music videos... blood, death, nudity, gore, hate.... omg it was literally orgasmic....
oh and the music for Dethalbum II? harder, faster, better, stronger... it redefined metal for me.... made the first album, sound like a kids sing-a-long

I honestly cant stand Dethklok.
They sound so bland to me. The vocals, I mean. They have the instrumentals right, but the vocals... Not so much.

Like anybody cares about vocals in metal... it's just a bunch of guys screaming at different points in the music anyway.
