Aatami: I honestly cant stand Dethklok.
They sound so bland to me. The vocals, I mean. They have the instrumentals right, but the vocals... Not so much.

Mercenary are death metal, which is the sub-genre most typically associated with "a bunch of guys screaming". Power metal is commonly accepted as having non-screamy vocals by those who have heard of it.

They're melodic death metal. Although they use aspects of power metal (and even thrash in their earlier work).
