I am in the first level of hell and goddamn the Blood Knights hurt a lot, just one encounter with a group makes me waste every potions I own and they take awhile to kill.

I am a level 20 warrior that never used magic with normal plate armor and Griswalds is not selling any premium armor.

I don't know what happen, this game had challeging moments but I still passed through it, but now these fucking Blood Knights are impossible, what the fuck am I supposed to do :(

Didn't Diablo 1 offer you the option of starting a new game with the same character? Thus allowing you to keep items and experience, while grinding from the start again, for better items?
Also, did you check if Wirt is selling anything interesting? Even if it does cost a leg to buy the stuff there...

There is your problem. Even as a warrior, you should be using at least some magic. Also, make sure to have a ranged weapon with you, as those are quite handy for things that you don't want to fight up close & personal.

BKs are a PITA but there are cures for them. It's not shameful to run away, find spots where you can funnel them so they can't surround you. Attack while pressing Shift when in such a spot so you perform standing attacks. Try to aggro smaller numbers by advancing slower.

TBH I played D1 mostly with Rogue and Wiz (these can be absolute Gods when they get manashield). Warriors are the most gear dependent class in D1... so you need gear, good armour, good weapon, good shield. Always be mindful of positioning. Those casters that throw fireballs at you and teleport away are truly annoying.
I think your problem is that you are playing on Hell. XD Hey I'm not proud, I like to keep it nice and easy.

And screw Wirt. Best thing about D2 was being able to loot that little bastard's corpse.

I am thinking of getting rid of my sword for a better because this sword has knockback, which in Diablo actually sucks because it slows down the combat and forces me to move foward thus leading me to a trap indirectly.

Not really sure, and before you do try it, I'd say to back up your saves. It has been too long since I last played Diablo, but I think it was the new game in the menu. After all, how many options does it have?

Press Shift while attacking. You throw them back and stand in the same place. It's still good for crowd control. Let them come, smack them in the face and throw them back, rinse and repeat.

I believe New Game from the ESC menu just takes you to the main menu but selecting New Game when you select your character will start you over. If you're using the ground as a bank make sure you pick up the valuable stuff else it disappears.

The problem I had with the new game option is that there's a point where you're leveled up so much that nothing you do will help. Doing all the missions and sidequests will never give you back anything decent after the first couple times, no monsters except the ones you were struggling with are going to give enough exp to grind levels with and it makes the game feel more tedious. I think for me that happened once I hit level 14, I couldn't get through..... what was it, the 5th area I think, when you start seeing lava. I just couldn't do anything to make the fight easier. I'm thinking the only way I'll ever beat the game is following the method of a 7 minute wizard speedrun.
I never understood how people could actually finish Diablo I on a single game. I must've restarted the whole thing (With the same character) at least five times just so that I could grind and become strong enough to face the deeper levels, since I always inevitably hit a brick wall at some point.

Then again, once I did get to Diablo I kind of killed it without any issue, on first try, and barely noticing that monster WAS diablo. Talk about anticlimatic...

The game is so much more fun with friends to play with.
