I loved the game. Much more than The Quest for Gold. I had it in japanese and had no idea what is going on in it, but I enjoyed nevertheless. Only recently (last year), I obtained the emulated english version, to learn what it was about and it was still fun.

Loved the original. I never thought something like this would ever happen. I really hope they don't mess it up. The preview looks promising though. I only wish that the backgrounds had the same art style as the characters and enemies.

Barry_Woodward: Trailer

It's a remake of the Capcom NES classic.

Although a PC version has yet to be announced, I imagine it's only a matter of time. Vote for it on the wishlist:

P.S. Hopefully Rescue Rangers: Remastered is not far behind.
Lets gets the Original version on GoG as well

Qwertyman: Not a bad idea but if I ever got the urge to revisit that game, I'd just assume play it emulated at this point. It was up there on my list of NES favorites as a kid, though. And to be honest, there's something about the remastered graphics that isn't really turning me on. It looks sort of... cheesy, like a phone game or something rather than a nicely polished console remake. Actually the character models look nice, but the rest of the graphics look phone/tablet-ish.
I think, for me, it's more a mismatch between the characters and the background that's throwing me off just a bit. Not that it looks particularly bad, and it's certainly not enough to turn me off from the game if it otherwise turns out well.

Hell yeah, especially Darkwing Duck
I just saw this trailer and had to check because I was sure that I wasn't the only one. This HAS to come here (if they don't make it XBL only).

I am excited.
I didn't play this game when it came out, so I'm not overly excited about this, however I look forward to the new music as the music in the original was excellent

Also: I automatically sang along to the Russian version

Cant get that damn song out of my head :P

I'm curious; how do you expect GOG to release NES games, such as Darkwing Duck here? In case I'm missing something, GOG specializes in selling old PC games. I'm sure selling a ROM with an emulator included would go against their policies. Plus, getting Nintendo to sign up here is a preposterous thought, with their own marketplace selling these games and everything.

What I'm saying, why put a load on the wishlist by adding games there's absolutely zero chance of appearing here? The thing is a mess as it is.

StingingVelvet: Loved this show and Talespin and some others as a kid. Still, I have no real interest in them now, outside of clips for nostalgia. It seems weird to me some people still love them as adults.

In any case I remember this being fine platforming, so if it comes to PC I'll check it out.
Not really, they're bimodal programs, as in they've got things for kids as well as adults. Hell, have you watched Mr. Rogers recently? It's chock full of things that only an adult would notice. I never realized that it's King Friday XIII as in Friday the thirteenth.

Plus, the shows were well written and well animated, you'd have to be dead inside to not love them if you loved them to begin with.

There were PC versions of some of these games.

And we've requested that GOG move into retro console games as you can emulate anything up to an SNES accurately on modern hardware.

I'm not sure if they've ignored the request or been unable to find a way of making it happen. But, for a lot of us, we would have rather they moved that direction than bringing all these new games. The same new games that are available elsewhere and often times DRM free.

Huh? They do exactly this for many of their old PC games.
Duck Tales, woo-oo! XD
Duck Tales wasn't really that great of a game, and i can't understand why people are praising the game.

A little late for April Fools there, I'm afraid.
