StingingVelvet: Loved this show and Talespin and some others as a kid. Still, I have no real interest in them now, outside of clips for nostalgia. It seems weird to me some people still love them as adults.
In any case I remember this being fine platforming, so if it comes to PC I'll check it out.
Not really, they're bimodal programs, as in they've got things for kids as well as adults. Hell, have you watched Mr. Rogers recently? It's chock full of things that only an adult would notice. I never realized that it's King Friday XIII as in Friday the thirteenth.
Plus, the shows were well written and well animated, you'd have to be dead inside to not love them if you loved them to begin with.
Ki11s0n3: Hell yeah, especially Darkwing Duck
DProject: I'm curious; how do you expect GOG to release NES games, such as Darkwing Duck here? In case I'm missing something, GOG specializes in selling old
PC games. I'm sure selling a ROM with an emulator included would go against their policies. Plus, getting Nintendo to sign up here is a preposterous thought, with their own marketplace selling these games and everything.
What I'm saying, why put a load on the wishlist by adding games there's absolutely zero chance of appearing here? The thing is a mess as it is.
There were PC versions of some of these games.
And we've requested that GOG move into retro console games as you can emulate anything up to an SNES accurately on modern hardware.
I'm not sure if they've ignored the request or been unable to find a way of making it happen. But, for a lot of us, we would have rather they moved that direction than bringing all these new games. The same new games that are available elsewhere and often times DRM free.
