tinyE: I really shouldn't be so harsh. I will no doubt watch it again. I love bad movies. No, I take that back, I worship bad movies. I'll watch Far Cry, then I'll pop in my special edition DVD of Doom. POP was actually a well done movie, so I wont watch that crap!

I don't go for movies from games that I didn't like and I am a fan neither of the Mario or the DD franchise. That is actually pretty stupid of me being as I adore Dennis Hopper, but what can I say, I'm all screwed up.

Endzville: Yeah, I can agree that there's an appeal in watching some really bad films seeing as they can be really hilarious. You can seriously take the piss out of every scene and have a good time with your friends watching some of them.
Many if not most people have forgotten one simple fact that is the most important thing about Entertainment Films. They're made for one purpose and one very obvious purpose only. To Entertain. If you watch a Entertainment film and look for all kinds of other things instead of just thinking about being entertained you're doing it wrong and it's your fault if you think most films are crap. It's not the films it's you.

I think this is why so many people dismiss B films. They're watching them wrong.

Amen to that. I've never understood why that sequence didn't start a trend.

bevinator: To be fair to Mr. Boll, I actually genuinely enjoyed In The Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. It was perhaps one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and it had next to no entertainment value of its own, but it was the worthiest movie I've ever lampooned. If a movie is just decent, then lampooning isn't fun because there's not enough material to work with. If it's TOO bad, then lampooning doesn't have any joy because simply being in the presence of the movie can numb your mind and erode your spirit.

The Dungeon Siege movie was in the exact dead center of those two extremes. Far too terrible to be enjoyed on its own, but not SO terrible (e.g. Manos) that it was soul-crushing to experience.
Ugh... Manos. So bad even the MST3K version was a bore to watch.

Neither Doom or Prince of Persia were THAT bad. Not great, but decently enjoyable. On the level of other McDonald's-grade action fodder.

After watching postal, I'd actually watch another of Uwe's film if I had the chance
Uwe Boll...i am pretty sure the vast majority of his movies are in the worst 100 made of all-time...but sometimes they can be so good because they are so BAD...I mean come on...

House of the Dead...really...you make a movie based on that game=(

Alone in the Dark...boring...i mean...everyone i was with fell asleep during it

Bloodrayne...gaw...

In the name of the King : A Dungeon Siege Tale...just silly

Postal...actually i did get some laughs, really not sure how he thought that game was movie worthy

Just in case you wanted a sequel...BloodRayne : Deliverance

1968 Tunnel Rats...the game was horrible...movie actually was supposedly better, lol

Wait for it...Alone in the Dark II...lol...actually score higher

Then came Far Cry...

wow..and because the first two were so great...he made Bloodrayne : The Third Reich

and lets bring back another sequal...In the Name of the King : Two Worlds

If you ever want to torture someone, by the complete Uwe Boll collection for them and then lock them in a room and say they cannot leave until they watch them all.
This is how the FARCRY movie really is

REAL FARCRY

.....maybe the game lacked the snake, everything else is just 1:1 copy :D
