I'm not in favor of capital punishment and the fact that he spent thirty years on death row before finally succumbing to what is being initially called "natural causes" proves the point that it really doesn't accomplish anything other to make the sociopath (at least in his case) more famous.

Well, capital punishment is humane and supposed to be relatively painless, and hopefully these natural causes made him suffer to the last.
Just being on death row is a torture in and of itself - have you ever read about the conditions?

That's the problem - it's painless(or at least, that's what they say). In Vlad Tepes' time, someone like this filth would've been impaled in such a way as to avoid the internal organs, so the scum would die slowly over the course of hours or, as some scholars write, up to 2 days. That's what this vermin would've deserved, that's what he would've got in a normal society.
+1 for the comments!
Rest in shit... LMAO :)

I wouldn't know. Contrary to popular belief I've never been there. :P

in vlad's times those people would not be punished for those crimes.
unless he killed nobles.

if he was rich he would be able to kill rape without any consequences (lesser class of people of course)

What does suffering accomplish if it's memory and experience is obliterated upon death?

Removing dangerous elements from society seems to be entirely more useful than some metaphysical concept of 'justice'.
Good riddance.

I'm also not in favor of capital punishment, but I don't like the roundabout way they do it. Supposedly it's painless, some people say that it actually isn't and the cocktail of drugs just makes it impossible for them to express pain. So I wish they just went the chinese route and put a bullet in the back of his head. It's direct and you know with absolute certainty that it does hurt, but 0.1 seconds later it will stop hurting. I guess Im just blunt like that.
