NMillar has basically said nothing, so not much of a defense there. And to answer your question, its odd thats why. The way the votes went down denotes some form of alternative communication or relationship, which of course is most likely scum related at this point of in the game. Further, I wouldnt say its the main point of the game, but it is one that consistently goes ignored or unaddressed by the participants, making it that much more scummy.

But that's why I voted him. I was confused because I didn't remember naming anyone a Lurker, but what was in my head evidently didn't make it into type.

Vitek has, very implicitly, raised an excellent query. Mr Millar, why are you so lacking in suspcion and the passion of the scumhunt this game? It is so unlike you it is a little bit scary.

IN RESPONSE to Vitek: The manner in which you voted deliberately drew focus to you for its intrigue and mystecism. It MUST be deliberate. Still yet we BELIEVE there must be some sort of logical explaination behind it and rather than tell us you bait us with inadequate half-informations ---

Anyway, since the mod has decided to be a bastard, we need to get something going ASAP. As such, all those not voting - Crazybear, Muttly, Orryrro, Itai.sharim, Robbeasy, Jefequeso, Nmillar, Peanutbrittle - need to get down a vote right away, so that we can assess who the town find to be the best targets.

I don't care who are why you vote - as long as it's not random, of course - people just need to vote, and vote now.

Just got back to this after an xmas week of over indulgence and rampant alcoholism...

Will have a read through tomorrow and get back with a vote of some sort - although agreed Mod is a bastard for not extending at least a week beyond holiday time!

Zchinque, you could move voting along a bit by responding to the queries in your direction. If it is important for you to see everyone voting, i would suggest you provide some information regarding the issue at least a few people are waiting on for further info. Very possibly stalling their vote. I know it is preventing mine for the time being.

02- JoeSapphire - Who knows... Seems to have it in for me so that makes my feelings biased at the moment.

So, all of that laid out. I am particularly bothered by Vitek and Z steadfast refusal to speak of their perceived collusion. However, I do think that NMillar and Roboeasy are pretty much nonplayers at the moment. Nmillar has 6 posts with one or two containing some degree of info. Roboeasy has 7 posts absolutely none of which have any text regarding thoughts on the game. I believe the next lurker extraordinaire is Orry at 10 or so. Also contain very little on thoughts about the game, but something is there.

Anyway, all of this is to let you know who I find lynchable. I am not one to let a day go by without a lynch as it seems to me its better to get some info than none. I would be fine voting Z and Vitek based on actions. Robo or Nmillar based on their activity level.

Sums up my thoughts pretty exactly. Zchinque seems eager for people to vote, yet is stalling the game by bringing so much attention to his own actions, while stonewalling any attempt to get info from him. I'm still in the mindset that's he's acting so suspicious that he couldn't possibly be scum, but there's not a lot else to go on. I'm down for lynching either Z or a lurker, because we don't have much to work with.

I've already said all there is to say about it - I had no reason to believe that Vitek would "follow my vote". I also have no reason to believe that he is following my vote, and have not came to the same conclusion as me independently.

As I see it, there are three possibilities when it comes to me and Vitek:

1. We are mafia buddies, and as such have communicated and coordinated our play. If this is the case, we're obviously never going to admit to that.
2. We are masons (or some subset thereof, lovers etc.), and as such have communicated and coordinated our play. If this is the case, we clearly don't find it worthwhile to reveal the nature of our relationship at the current time.
3. We have no connection whatsoever and have come to the same conclusion independently of each other.

There's of course the fourth possibility - that we're not connected at any way, but are still communicating outside the game to coordinate our play - e.g. cheating - but let's not even go there.

Yes, you have addressed the piece with Vitek while still lacking any information about why you voted for Nmillar. Vitek on the other hand has addressed his vote only by saying he supports your seemingly whimsical vote. Surely you can see towns concern with this?

I can certainly see voting for Nmillar, but I would like you to state your reasons for doing so as they may differ from my own.

I didn't want to explain my vote until nmillar post something but it seems it won't happen naytime soon. So you can just assume I am voting because I want to get rid of him for his inactivity.
I wans't following Zchinque. I don't know why he voted nmillar but I supported his vote with mine as I wanted to see what will happen. I wanted to see what he is trying to achiece, how others will react and mainly it seemed he is trying to do something with his vote on nmillar and I know nmillar usually doesn't acknowledge vote on himself so I wanted to back him up.

The way active people get all the attention is really twisted so I'd be willing to vote for nmillar, Robbeasy or Orryyrro for inactivity. Although, I'd probably give nmillar a slack because of the whole secret santa project.

Of the active people I see suspicious behavior from vitek and Zchinque but it seems none of them is eager to reveal his reasoning. Not going to push it any further though and will just consider it as random votes.

Yes, i was holding off due to it being Christmas and my attendance being spotty but I do agree.

However, you seem to want to get the game moving in any direction as opposed to one you consider most scummy. So...

Yeah, that kind of took up a lot more time (and money) than I initially thought, and combined with visiting family and erm ... the Steam Gift Pile thing (anyone who was around during the Summer even will know I get kind of carried away with the achievements), I haven't spent a lot of time on the GOG forum.

Vote Robbeasy for general lurking/lack of info. I figured if he didnt respond within the extra day he mentioned in his last post (230) I would go for him over Nmillar.

So, what has happened in my absence.

Vitek has finally posted a reasonably plausible explanation for his vote for NMillar which means I will Unvote Vitek for now.

Zchinque has joined in again demanding that everyone votes despite having derailed the game almost as much as the holiday sale. I am finding his actions very anti-town.

There seems to be some sort of consensus forming that we should lynch a lurker, as opposed to trying to find out who the scum are.

I am most astounded by NMillar's last post.

I am surprised that his is defending someone who has voted for him with no explanation other than the extremely fallacious idea that because Zchinque played this way last time and was town then he must be town this time too. I don't know what to make of this.
