Not in a humble bundle, not on GOG, not "pirated"... what game music have you actually paid out specifically for at a roughly normal price?

I just bought "Tears" by Health from the Max Payne 3 soundtrack.
The stuff by the Megas. I really like the Megaman series, so music based on each boss was quite interesting to me.
Looking through my CDs:
Anubis: Zone of the Enders
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy Tactics
Metal Slug 3
Valkyrie Profile
Xenogears
There used to be a stand in a nearby mall where I could buy them, but they were pricey.
The Krunch soundtrack by Disasterpiece.

EDIT: Does the Persona 4 soundtrack that came with the game count? I used to listen to it.

I buy soundtracks to games that I really like. I have stuff from Final Fantasy, Siren, Metal gear Solid, Silent Hill, SSX and some other cds that I cant check right now. Now with all that digital selling I'm a bit less interested in soundtracks.
A few days ago I paid 8.99$ for Deus Ex 3 (via amazon). It's actually the 1st time I'm buying a game soundtrack without knowing the series.

I got it with the game. "Icarus" is pretty amazing but the rest is too ambient to listen to outside the game, for me.

You are absolutely right. I bought the soundtracks because of Icarus, hoping that there would be one or maybe two more tracks with the same intensity. Unfortunately, the rest is very ambient indeed.
Does it count if I bought a limited/collector's/etc edition of a game for the soundtrack? If so, I did that for the Ys games and Legend of Heroes: Trails of the Sky on PSP. Also, I've got Killer Instinct's "Killer Kuts" and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's "Original Soundtrack CD". Oh yeah, and I've got Final Fantasy Anthology which has a sampler soundtrack CD for FFV&VI.

If it doesn't count, I did buy Bastion's and Binding of Isaac's soundtracks separately from the games.
While you already said it doesn't count, I paid above average on a Humble Bundle strictly for the Bastion soundtrack. Had the game already. Other than that I've ne'er purchased a game soundtrack, as usually they aren't anything I'd be much interested in listening to by themselves.

Yeah, "Opening Credits" has a little kick but the rest are pretty much all ambient. His other big soundtrack, Splinter Cell Double Agent, was very similar.
I paid for the soundtrack to the game Forsaken on eMusic some time back.
I bought the Beyond Divinity fanpack, which was a copy of the Child of the Chaos novella signed by Rhianna Pratchett (I already had an unsigned copy from the UK retail release of the game) and an audio CD (Music From The Divinity Universe) signed by Kirill Pokrovsky.
Bought a few recently. My best purchases in my opinion are the soundtracks for Aquaria, Xenosaga episode 1 and PPPPPP.
Mirror's Edge - Still Alive with Lisa Miskovsky is beautiful
