Quick Summary: old computer's busted, need a new one, don't want to lose the ability to play all my GOG games! Gorky 17 was already dead for me the moment I bought it, and I would prefer it remain the old product in the Shame Corner.
I've currently got a 32 bit Windows XP machine. I'm aiming for Windows 7 Pro on the next one (and so will have Windows XP Mode), but I wanted to know what the advice is on 32 bit vs 64 bit in regards to GOG especially, and if there's anything else I should keep in mind.
On a related subject, while I'm not sure if I can ever get my current computer to turn on again, if I do, I'm going to run Spore's DRM de-registering program. Do any (certainly not many...) other games and applications have a de-registering program like that? Is there a list?
