Red_Baron: but since you got no name or anything in regards of the unknown its hard for me to confirm if its true or not..
I do know the player name, character name and role, but I haven't revealed any of this as the "no criminal record" suggests that they're a Town power role.

avatar
Zchinque: Why on earth would you out Damnation as vanilla?
To verify the information. If the mafia do decide to take out Damnation during the night phase, then all power roles are safe.

avatar
NotFrenchYet: As I understand it, nmillar had the choice between outing a townie or a mafia, and he chose the townie. THAT is problematic...
I had already bread-crumbed the information about Orryyrro, and if Damnation ever makes a re-appearance he can verify the information I have given about him. I figured this would be the better option than outting the (possibly) town power role ...

NOTE: I'm going away tomorrow, and won't have Internet access until I return on Friday 27th January.

Unvote NotFrenchYet. Vote Orryyrro.

Zchinque: As Baz says, outing Damnation as town is not a problem. Saying that he is vanilla is a problem.
Revealing Damnation as town would likely put him high on the list of choices for the mafia nightkill. Saying that he is vanilla - not so much. (Hint: The mafia spending their time killing vanillas is good for town)

And even if the mafia didn't go after Damnation for confirmed townieness, it still narrows down the choices for hitting power roles.
Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, that was a mistake on my part.

jefequeso: I have a question. What exactly is the problem with outing someone as Town? It's not like it gives the Mafia any more information than they already have, and it just helps Town not to mislynch.

Ahh. I see.

As I don't think you understood me, what I meant was that if you posted the name, which shouldn't pose any risk as far as I can see. Then I can confirm whether or not its me, because I am pretty much known already. Of course since you say that you have the role, it properly means you would have a good idea already, but knowing if or not would with 100% certainty confirm your info for me personally. If it confirms for others well, might be a different matter, and if my idea is stupid fell free to ignore it. I am somewhat uncertain if it poses any danger. You properly won't see any of this anyway if your gone tomorrow - well hope is green.

I don't think you've understood me; I know the player name as well - it's not you.
Ah your right, I fail at reading :) Well then I'll just go with my gut on this one:

vote Orryyrro

Besides this revelation from nmillar, he is also extremely lyrking or simply vanished, maybe more votes makes him magically appear?
And yes, I forgot to bold it of course...

vote orryyrro

Lets see if I get it right now.
Well looks like orryyrro isnt coming back, Anyone want to take his place PM me

Hmm might just be me thinking that we could also just lynch him. We would confirm/deconfirm nmillar's claim. For I think it might get a bit tough for X to find a replacement for one who might be lynched very soon. But maybe its not a good plan and wouldn't suggest it if it weren't for the current predicament.
I kind of agree with RB... would really like to hear Orryyrro's claim though. It could be that nmillar is trying to manipulate us into lynching someone important to us.

Yeah, I'm kinda torn on this as well. But at the same time, it's gonna be nuts if we drop a replacement into this.
@Mod: If a replacement can't be find, will the modkill end the day?

Heh, that would solve everything pretty easily.

If it does turn out that way, we'd lynch nmillar the next day. So it sounds like either way we get one mafia... But despite all that fuss about trapping and role fishing I'm glad we found out now rather than potentially being landed with this dilemma at LyLo. And Bard's right, I'm not sure anyone would want to replace in at this point - even if someone does, it will be pretty much impossible to get a read on them...

Psuedo-vote Orryyrro, for what it's worth. If he was around to pressure, I'd be pressuring right now... I don't like the idea of casting a significant vote with no response from the guy.
