25 Sierra Quests--75 Percent Off

It's Monday, so many of you are probably wondering what to do during the week before Christmas. It's a little bit too early to prepare all the foods and drinks, and a little bit too late to do any actual work. That is why we have prepared a bundle of Quests for you and mind that these are not just some regular quests you can expect from any other average digital distributor, oh no, these are [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/quest_for_sierra_bundle]Quests from Sierra Entertainment--the epicest, romanticest, adventurousest, and most imaginativest quests ever known to a fan of video games. Quests like Quest for Glory 1-5, widely considered as one of the best RPG adventure series in known and unknown history. For the next 24 hours only, until Tuesday December 18 at 3 PM GMT, 25 different Quest games are available in a sweet 75% off bundle for less than $20!

What's in the bundle? We're glad you asked!
King’s Quest is a classic series created by Roberta Williams of Sierra Entertainment in the so-called “golden days” of adventure games. They chronicle the history of the Royal House of Daventry in a world inspired by fairy tales and mythology. Get King’s Quest 1+2+3, King's Quest 4+5+6, and King's Quest 7+8, all in one wholesome bundle.

Police Quest 1+2+3+4, all four designed by former policemen, are adventure games that put you in the shoes of California homicide detective. Police Quest: SWAT 1+2 is a non-typical compilation, because SWAT 1 is an FMV tactical SWAT-assault simulation and SWAT 2 is a real-time strategy. However, all Police Quest games are a must-buy for all those interested inthe nitty-gritty of actual police work, and they're part of a healthy gamer's Christmas shopping.

Space Quest - Venture through the Galaxy and fight for truth, justice, and really clean floors. A silly sense of humor, wacky storyline, Star Wars and Star Trek parodies, and janitor (!) Roger Wilco as the main character who repeatedly saves the universe by accident -- you can find all of this and even more in Space Quest 1+2+3 or Space Quest 4+5+6, all along with the other incredible games in this bundle, at one great price.

More classic adventure games than you can shake a stick at, this bundle hits you right in the nostalgia center with 75% off savings that are better than any workshop of elves could construct!

grviper: Now... let's see... $7.5 for the sweet abominations, stitched from the corpses of fairy tales by Roberta Williams. $5 for the games of two guys, who place random instant death in the game and laugh at the player for not figuring it out. $2.5 for the sims of following routine police procedures. Hmmm...
Nah, I'm quite happy with the QFG and Swat 2 I've already got. Except for GK, Larry and Laura Bow Sierra adventures are the kind of gaming history I'd rather watch someone else suffer through.
Interesting way of looking at games.... But I guess that's what happens when you played thousands of games....

mistermumbles: Not bad, but I own everything I want already. Not interested in Police Quest/SWAT.
Lucky You! Those are the only ones I want, and the only game in my shelf right now is QfG. I'm not paying $17.43 to get just PQ + SWAT, so I guess this promo is another pass for me.

...unless we could work out some sort of deal. Is it possible?

You should get the 75% for the remainder of the titles you don't have. Try adding to cart! :)

Crash-lin: This system of sale, I mean 75% for all or 50% for selection, is OK when no other sale doesn't exist. But if there is 50% sale for more or less all games during whole holiday, today sale is a little bit absurd. If you don't want whole bundle there is no change to buy today or tomorrow or 31st December.
I agree. They could try something like "Games on this daily deal are 60% off, or 75% for the whole bundle."

Now that would make us buy now instead of waiting til Jan 3rd or, as I'll probably do, wait til unspecified future promo where the games I want reach a 60% or higher discount.

This. If it were 60% off instead of 50% off for individual games, I would buy some of these games with no hesitation. I'm not really into buying these bundles because I'm only interested in maybe 1 or 2 games.

Otherwise, I'll just wait until a future 60% off promo.

No, I meant the other games would come along but I'm not interested in them (at least for now). That is the price for the whole bundle, minus the one game I already have, at 75% off. I'd pay 17.43 and save 52.50
I really only wanted the Quest for Glory and King's Quest games, but the 75% all or nothing setup made the bundle cost the same as just those I wanted so I ended up just getting the lot.

I think it would have been better if it were on a sliding discount. Like others have said, for those of us only wanting part of the promo games it's basically a null in the way of a daily deal. It's no different from any other day.
I bought almost all of these the last time there was a sale on them. Some of them were among the first computer games I really got into and I wanted to play them all at the time but had neither the time nor the money back then.

The only games I don't have from the bundle are the two SWAT games. Not sure if I should get them or not. When anything rates less than four stars on GOG (this got 3.5 so far) it makes me wonder.
Ill have to give adventure games another go one day...sadly now right now ;). Great bundle though!! (know about most of the games)
I would love to pick up a few more sierra games (and i may well do so) but for some reason I don't want to pick up games that I have no intention of ever playing.

It will cost me more to buy only the games that I want than to buy the whole bundle, but I don't want the whole bundle.

I guess this is a pass for me. I too wish there was a sliding scale (or at least a maximum amount that you would pay for games - eg. if its $14.94 for the whole bundle, its not $19.96 for less than the whole bundle... that just seems dumb).
Only six days in, and one of the bundles I was hoping for has appeared! Also, I love how GOG goes ahead and gives you credits for any of the games in the bundle you already own, thereby making the bundle cheaper. That's above and beyond, if you ask me.

Now, I'll just keep my fingers crossed for an Origin bundle. Or two.
Already have quest for glory, and don't want any other Sierra games because of this. Roll on next deal :)

Why not buy the whole bundle and gift away the ones you don't want?

Our point of view does get twisted in a weird, perverted way. The incredible thing is I know what he is saying. heh.
