This should be required viewing for idiots who keep trying to give away the whole damn movie or game in trailers. Have fun and be inventive with presentation. That's the reason I love The Witcher 2 with the dwarf and I assume Triss sitting in the inn arguing: the presentation to the audience while still getting the message across.

^This. How many comedies put their best joke in the trailer? How to grab interest without giving away anything? CREATIVITY! You can make an interesting trailer w/ out even using actual scenes from the movie. Or even better, use the money on creative marketing. Now don't even get me started on commercials...

toilet at 5:30, it's pretty significant, I think it's the fist time you could see one in an hollywood movie ;)

Have to say the "Fear & Disdain" trailer for TW2 is one of the best I've ever seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCRMZef_JN4&feature=player_embedded It does give some key stuff away but in this case it seems necessary for the full impact.

What's the issue?

EDIT: Oh wow, I might have just crowned myself as biggest fool on the boards. Isn't it great that I thought of the Psycho trailer too, though? Ha. The one time I don't watch the video before posting... geeze. I apologize, truly, I feel bad. I am just at work and was going to watch all of the stuff posted later.

This is also one of my favorites, since it captures the oppressive, atmospheric mood of the game so damn well. The scene at 1:19 is especially perfectly placed and shot.

Usually I eyeroll when I hear that song with a trailer, but I cannot think of a better song to go with the editing of that trailer.

It's a simple trailer, but has huge impact, I think.
