SimonG: Not to mention that they hold the best IPs from old games and is quite willing to sell them on GOG. And they sell them all (?) for 6$ here, even though people would gladly pay more. If it wouldn't be for GOGs shitty release schedule, we could be swimming in the greatest classics.
MOHAA Warchest is for 9.99, but be honest, it's worth it.

Also, EA is offering Worlds of Ultima for free, when they could definitely be selling it for $6 and noone would complain.

And yeah, people responsible for release schedule on GOG are the worst :-(

saldite: I'm hoping that the first Crysis will be added in at some point later on in the bundle.
Don't forget Crysis: Warhead (just to be complete).

Sogi-Ya: Some titles are a bit more dickish than others in this regard; Alice can function independently of Origin (I don't remember if I even had to load the client to activate the key) but Kingdom of Amalur will throw a tantrum if you don't log in.

both were developed by third parties to EA, both are SP only titles, but they don't share the same level of involvement with Origin.

at the same time Battlefield 3 requires you to have Origin installed to play, but once you have registered your keys the game will only load up the background functions of Origin (not the full client). after that the game loads up the battle log webpage and you run the game from a browser .... it is fucking weird.
That's ok, since DS is the only one I'm interested in.

Aver: I always liked EA too. And I don't really care what people love or hate, they are just too random to care. Valve forced us to sign contract that was saying that we will never sue them. They are also biggest provider of DRM on the world, yet people love Valve. I guess you have to do bad things in silly hat and people won't notice. ;)
I haven't bought a single Valve game since they introduced Steam and I never will...
Would it be possible to use the steam keys and give away the origin keys of the games that have both?
low rated
I just remembered why I hate EA so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPYkOMj-3iI

Hey EA, challenge my dick to a sucking contest!

Yes, unless you care about what Humble Bundle has written under the codes - "codes are only for a personal use".

darthspudius: What's wrong with paypal?
avatar
Daedalus1138: Nothing. I'm just lazy and don't feel like setting up an account.
Since you said you are fine with clients, think of the PayPal account as the same as creating an Origin account. :) Heck, even I have a Paypal account, makes paying for HumbleBundles so much faster.

Great thank you. And I care what it says for personal use. None of them are going to be used for teams of gamers to own. Just one.

These are incredibly minor things compared to what EA has done. Driving Bullfrog into the ground alone is unforgivable.

I never blame companies that buy other companies. I blame original owners that were greedy, took money and ran away - it seems that they didn't care about their own company at first place. After all EA didn't bought Bulfrog just to drive it into the ground. They didn't want to waste money.

If Activision would buy CDP then I wouldn't blame Activision, but founders of CDP who would betray their own values.

And I'm not saying that EA is saint. They are not, but they are not devils either.

Exactly. What's EA to blame for seizeing the oportunity? Bullfrog drove itself to the ground, because unfortunatelly, they were making niche games. And then their owner decided to sell them.

The same goes with Westwood Studios.

In situations like this, always blame the seller.

In both these situations, the studios was struggling before EA bought them. They would have folded no matter, at least all the IP's are in one place now.
I hope origin picks up and grows more popular, steam could use some good healthy competition.
