For me Mass Effect (shooter/rpg), the first one of the saga!

Thanks Licurg again :P
In for Sachys, thank you.

Space Rangers and King's Bounty.
I'm in! Thanks Licurg.

As to hybrid games, if I'd to name a good old one, I'd say Shogun: Total War. Loved the Japanese theme and the combination of tactical map, army/unit building and real time mass battles.

Hold it, mister. It's an Adventure RPG :D

"Malevolent Scrotum", btw. And I guess you've heard of Dragon Commander by now, a great mix imo.
Thanks for the giveaway, Licurg! :D Count me in!

My favorite hybrid game is Hybrid, for the Xbox Live Arcade...wait, that's not what you meant? Darn. I guess my real favorite hybrid game is Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit sounds better, but whatever). I guess if I had to pin it down to a few genres, it's a simulation murder-mystery puzzle adventure. Rolls right off the tongue :P I like it (despite its criticisms) because it's so interesting and unlike any other game released prior. Maybe not the revolution its director intended it to be, but it's still awesome.

Haven't played it yet, how good is it ?

I think, best hybrid game is Deus Ex.
I'm in, thanks for the giveaway.

For the favourite, I'd say it's definitelly King's Bounty series.
I already own Sacrifice, you Malevolent Scrotum!

Honourable mention goes to the fantastic turned-based/RPG/RTS/text-based hybrid Space Rangers 2; let's hope GOG brings it back!
How about Inindo: Way of the Ninja for the Super Nintendo. It's an RPG but it also has strategy and war simulation elements added. It also had two different possible game paths, which gave you different monsters and a different final boss (Way of Magic was easier :P). I was able to unite either side of Japan under two feudal lords but they were each too scared to take on Nobunaga, what a couple of pansies! Anyway, the strategy part of it really made it one of the most memorable RPGs I've ever played. Thanks for another giveaway and another chance at Sacrifice!
I really enjoyed playing game The Fifth Disciple. It's a mixture of point-n-click adventure and rpg.
The Unholy War.. A fighting game mixed with turn based strategy..

Thank you! I'm in.
Malevolent Scrotum

Favorite hybrid game?
Heroes of Might & Magic (1,2 & 3), RTS ganmes with RPG elements
Spellforce, very godd hybrid between RPG and RTS.
X-universe games, hybrid between action game and economical simulation game, with a mission asignement system similar to a RPG game.
King's Bounty, tactical combat game and RPG.
Oh man, I've wanted to try Sacrifice ever since it was first released, in time when I dreamed internet connection and never even thought something like GOG will ever happen.

I'm in!
My favorite hybrid game is System Shock 2, its just plain awesome in every element and absolutely better than the sum of its parts.

Well, in my opinion, it is pretty good. The RPG elements aren't bad and you can shape your empire (or republic ;)) however you want. And most of the time, your choices have some consequences on the battlefield (less/more troops, less/more money etc.)
I heard that some strategy veterans aren't all that impressed, but I'm the opposite and I was pretty okay with the system. And the RTS part was cool too. Jetpacked Dragon FTW! :D

I'd recommend to watch a gameplay vid first, though. Better safe than sorry. Oh and I hope you have nothing against alliterations, since the characters' speech is full of that xD (guess it's a Larian Studios treat :D Will have to check how Original Sin and the old Divinity games are in that department :P)
