So we have come to Week Twenty-Five - And The Storm Begins

So Let me Explain "The Storm"

For the Next Twenty-Five Weeks we will be experiencing A Hurricane of Game Giveaway Goodness. What I have been referring to as The Storm. We are turning Good Old Games (GOG) into Great Old Giveaway (GOG) for the next twenty-five weeks and I hope you will all take part in the upcoming weeks.

We will start our first week of the Storm with an Updated Classic from the Great Days of Biowares Past. This week we have two (2) copies of Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition on Gamersgate up for grabs. So, please enter the giveaway and I will randomly draw for the codes sometime on Monday Evening - Enjoy.

For audience participation this week - Let me hear your thoughts on the Storm. What you are anticipating, is it a good idea, what are your thoughts on BG, or Bioware in general.

I'm cant wait to see what this storm brings along. as for Bioware, Ive always been a fan of there games. I still try to give there games a fair viewing even after EA got there hands all over it.

Not in, the original here is enough for me.

BioWare games I've played (in this order): KotOR, NWN, ME, DA:O, ME2 and BG1. I need to get back to BG2, which I've started. I have enjoyed the games I played, but I feel they've lost something over time. The DA2 demo turned me away from giving that game a chance, and the Origin requirement for ME3 kept me away there. I preferred ME1 to ME2, as I felt the second list too many of the RPG elements. I enjoyed DA:O but dislike the handling of the DLC (BioWare account), which always felt broken. The online check for the NWN premium modules concerns me as well.

I would like to give this EE a try, I almost bought it for ~80% off on Nuuvem, but I was afraid of the situation with the "developers". Also with people complaints about it...
But looks like everything is settled now, mostly... ;p

Well, this is your storm. You're the one deciding what will storm will turn into. It can turn into a storm of cakes or kangaroos or cotton candy or something.

Regarding Bioware? I love MDK2, but I don't know about Mass Effect and Dragon Age. With ME I think they are good in gameplay but trying too hard to make good story and (ugh) good romance. With Dragon Age.... I think Dragon's Dogma is better. Way better.

For the questions: 1. I'm anticipating greatness. 2. It's a great idea! 3. Never played BG, or anything else by Bioware (except for the first couple of minutes of ME2, which was good). I do have NWN 1 and 2, so I should probably play those...
