I'm finding it hard to enjoy any game, no matter how recommended or how well i think its been put together, what the hell is wrong with me?
Lately, I feel like i am just sitting there picking faults until i get annoyed enough to uninstall & install something else.
Somebody cure me.

cioran: Have you tried drinking heavily? That generally works for me.
Also, cheese. I love cheese. Especially raclette. Ever have it scraped off the wheel? I forget the word for it.
And cigarettes. But not those delightful, wonderful Djarums, because they're banned by my gov't. *shakes fist angrily*

cogadh: Say what? I just bought some Djarums a few weeks ago. What state do you live in?

Ban's Federal, officially as of November 13th.
HR 1256. It banned all flavored cigarettes excluding menthols.

Welcome to the nanny state.....

You can still get Djarums, they just changed the way they make them to get around the law. They are no longer considered cigarettes now, instead they are considered cigars, which don't fall under that law. The only real difference between the old Djarums and the new ones is the old ones used a paper wrapper while the new ones have a tobacco leaf wrapper.
Do what I do:
Read a book until you get uber bored and want to kill yourself. Then take it out on NPCs.
Like everyone has sai do something else for a while then go back to gaming. If it doesn't work then maybe you're just changing.
Wow I thought I was only one with this problem....
See I noticed in the past 5 years I go in cycles. Every 3-5 months I'll hit a 2-4 week period where no game is fun anymore. I'm not depressed, just games aren't fun. In the past 2 years I learned how to deal with it, which includes exercise and taking my shotgun to the farm and belting a few clays or melons with some shot. I basically go outdoors, which isn't normal for me. After I do an outdoor blowout I go back in and games are fun again, then I'm stuck on them.
Anyone got a name for this cyclical illness? If not then I put forth we call this Gamer-Depression.

Or maybe "Game overload"?

Or maybe "You-ve-reached-your-limit-of-killings,-wait-for-reboot"

Meh. I've not enjoyed game for awhile now - despite the fact that I've been buying new games regularly (in fact my entire system is going to get a thousand-dollar upgrade within the next year or so). It's just a phase that will, maybe, pass. Or maybe not. I really have no idea. :\
I got it! Call this illness 'Game Overload -wait for reboot' syndrome!

We have a winner! :D

Those aren't cigarettes. They're not bad (in fact I think they're pretty decent), but they're rather different. I've been smoking Djarum Blacks for years. There's a rather big difference (or several).
They taste completely different. The filter on the cigars are unsweetened and the nicotine/tar content on the cigars is outrageous if you inhale. They taste quite different, too. The cigars leave you reaking of tobacco. The cigarettes don't.
