I'm finding it hard to enjoy any game, no matter how recommended or how well i think its been put together, what the hell is wrong with me?
Lately, I feel like i am just sitting there picking faults until i get annoyed enough to uninstall & install something else.
Somebody cure me.

Sometimes I get stuck in playing the same genres over and over, gets a little boring. Changing what I play helps out.
And honestly, sometimes you just need a break, take up some other hobbies for a while.

How long is lately? I've been through periods of 1-2 months where I really didn't feel like playing games at all. That always passed. It might help to get your hands on a game that really pulls you in, though that can be a hit-or-miss thing while in gaming-is-meh mode.
Also, people can change. Maybe you just don't really like gaming anymore? In that case there is probably a higher chance of getting back to it if you just let it rest now, instead of forcing yourself through the motions, building up a stockpile of frustrating/boring gaming memories.

Give us some examples of the games you have played and the flaws you have found with them ? =D
Definitely take a break.. But maybe you've changed, it's hard to know.
Ultimately it's something you'll find out for yourself, given some time.
Sounds like you should go out and get away from the computer for a while. Maybe take up a sport or a new hobby. Trust me, the enjoyment will come back, you just need to give it a rest.
For me, my alternate is usually soccer. Whenever I get sick of following video game trends, I lose myself in the soccer world. I'll go for like a month where I don't care much about games and just read soccer news and watch matches. Then, I'll get a little tired of that and go back to following the game industry.
And when both collide.... well...
I'll just say that Football Manager is so addictive, I can't let myself play it during the school year :-P
I think we all know the feeling.
Take a break from gaming and spend time on other hobbies, real life, family (it's the time of year anyway), etc.
After some time you get eager for a game again.
When I have such a period the only games I like at that time are the casual ones.
Tetris, pacman, card games, etc.
yup I agree with the people who say take a break from gaming. Play something once you really get a craving
Taking a break for awhile and then coming back is the #1 cure.
It happens to me all the time. Sometimes the idea of playing a videogame almost disgusts me, but after theextended breaks I remember how awesome videogames are
Buy Dragon Age: Origins and play. You will love games again. At least it worked for me. :p

Wow, I feel like that sometimes as well. I thought it was just some weird excentric thing, but apparently I'm not the only one by far. I feel so normal now <celebrates>
Definitely go for a new hobby, something completely different and preferrably not involving computers
get a girlfriend...
not sexy, nice and smart one...
find a needy, annoying, selfish girl... start dating spend lots of time with her.
she will convert you to gaming!
Yes, just take a break and do something else for a while. I sometimes get burned out and then go for months without loading up any games. After a while, I come back refreshed and ready for more gaming.

Hahaha!
+1 for being such a cynic. (not that there's anything wrong with that) =)
