Mentalepsy: Now if you've never seen anything that you
didn't think was mediocre, that's a little odd.
There are very few movies that I enjoy enough to watch over and over, most recently Scott Pilgrim. Those are the movies that I consider to be very good.
Mentalepsy: Do you ever think while you're playing "this or that is a really cool feature," or "this is a really interesting character," or that sort of thing, or do you just sit back and enjoy the ride without thinking too hard about it?
I suppose I do think that games have some nice features, but most of the time, the ones I remark on are little bits that add convenience.
I tend to relax and take a comedic approach to games and movies, noticing the little issues that they have and making fun of serious scenes, so much so that I get annoyed when LPers act all serious about the game they're playing.
Roberttitus: I can tell you why.... because Recettear is the shit... nuff said.
On a side note... know what else is the shit? Tales of the Abyss.... Just sayin' =)
My one problem with Recettear was that if you wanted to make your payments on time, there was no real opportunity to level up new heroes. I just used Louie throughout most of the game to take on the harder dungeons as they came up.
+1 for the TotA love.
