Value is in the eye of the beholder. So you do not do MP, fair enough, others do and find them more valuable than your 10 games. I guess that the scary realization you had is not that people are different with different preferences and tastes

For me personally, I only got a few games this sale so far. Fez, FTL and Blood Omen 2. It is to have DRM free backups of the first two, justin case, and the last is to fill out the series. Not sure I am going to play it any time soon...

Smannesman: Eh value is such a personal and nebulous concept for the most part that I can't really comment.
Like Pheace said, someone might spend a lot of time playing those maps and enjoy them immensely.
That same person might see your 'bundle' and see only games he/she would never ever play.
Exactly this.
Its a good feeling when you get great value in both money and gametime.
Nowdays value can be pretty difficult to define. From all those games you purchased, I personally don't really care about a single one. But, I could give 10 bucks to purchase just Raiden Legacy and I wouldn't find it a rip off.

Roman5: Then I was reminded that there exist people out there who will pay the same amount for a Call of Duty "Map Pack" which will provide them with a couple hours of entertainment, after that, what they have purchased will have no value whatsoever
I'm sure these people will laugh at you for buying a bunch of old and worthless games while they play their map packs for dozens of hours.

Blood Omen 2 is not technically part of the series, it shows events that happen in an alternate timeline, caused by Raziel's actions in Soul Reaver 2.

I know, I had it on PS 2 some time ago. Still, even though it takes place in an alternative timeline it is still part of the series, just not part of the same story arc. They called it a "midquel" :)

Not only value but also wealth is distributed quite inhomogenouesly. Maybe somebody paying 20 bucks for a few hours only of SP or MP fun are just having so much money at hand that they can easily afford it, even if there are better deals out there.

I think this is good news. If some pay more, than probably others need to pay less to give the same profits cuts to the companies.
I pray System Shock 2 will go on sale... I know it's 50% off right now as it is, but I really hope it gets either put into a bundle or has a 24 hour reduction or something... anything..!
Well, you DID see how much you have to pay to get CoH 2 & all the DLC, yeah?
What's more, some of the Freemium iOS games charge ridiculous prices, like this
