So Last week I've bought some games from the Summer sale

http://static.gog.com/upload/forum/2013/06/34a6b050efc3dec0f7c25187045fda2b95732cb7.jpg

10 Games for 20 Dollars, this is at the very least 2 months of gaming sorted right there

Then I was reminded that there exist people out there who will pay the same amount for a Call of Duty "Map Pack" which will provide them with a couple hours of entertainment, after that, what they have purchased will have no value whatsoever

What a funny world we live in, don't we?
Congrats on your good purchase! I only bought 2 games during this promo, sadly.
Got a bunch, emptied my wishlist, then bough a bunch more for giveaways. Crossing my fingers so Deus Ex doesn't go on sale again during these sales, I don't want to buy more copies of it. ...Except I do want to, I just don't want it.

And yes, I understand myself (barely)

Do you happen to host a giveaway for Sam & Max games? :P
Cool deal, how do the LoK games play on PC, I only have the console versions but I would imagine you would need a gamepad of some type to play them on PC?

I played them all on PC, and it feels natural for me to manage them with keyboard only. Except Blook Omen games, those use the mouse but they do it surprisingly well.

Nope, but let me check... 9 copies of DX, 2 of LoK: Soul Reaver, Zeus + ultima7, 3 copies of Theme hospital, Dungeon Keeper 2....

No Sam & Max, sorry.

Not to defend a horribly priced map pack, but if those are multiplayer then the average player will spend far more than a 'couple of hours' on those maps probably, people dump a load of time into multiplayer FPS.
How is that scary? It costs nearly that much to see a movie.
Eh value is such a personal and nebulous concept for the most part that I can't really comment.
Like Pheace said, someone might spend a lot of time playing those maps and enjoy them immensely.
That same person might see your 'bundle' and see only games he/she would never ever play.
Good choice of games, tho I suggest you also pick up Eador and Dangerous Dave before the sale ends.
And BTW, King of Dragon Pass alone has more than a year's worth of game time by itself.
