Licurg: I'm probably younger than you... I just have good tastes :P
Bah, everyone knows there is no such thing as universal good taste.
Update: Looks like it's not gonna happen for now:

Fenixp: What is there to enhance? Really, Blood is one of the few shooters that I just can't think of anything, it worked as it was. Unless he just wants to add a grenade shortcut.
I can't say I'd mind some texture updates. Those are always nice. He might toss in controller support or some other nice-to-haves as well.
Anyone who has the source should just anonymously release it. I know that's easy for me to say but that's how I feel. This whole thing is a joke. We've seen other build game sources released but Blood fans have been waiting for this one for quite a long time now. There's no reason to hold on to it anymore. Doom source ports exist but you can't use them without paying for the Doom assets so that's no excuse here. You would have a nice source port of Blood and still have to pay GOG for the needed files to use it.

Atari is just being pointlessly greedy here and I don't understand why Jace never seemed to consider just pushing for a source release. I never brought that excuse that he wanted to put some type of quality control on new Blood releases. I always believed the community never needed Jace to make his own Windows port and would have done a great job with the Blood source without his help. I just hope someone with access to the source says enough with this nonsense and releases it.
What Jace Hall wants to do with it sounds awesome, but any serviceable source port would be way better than having to run it in DOSbox. The source ports available for Doom and Duke3D really breathe new life in to those games and it would be great to see Blood get that kind of shot in the arm. The lack of a Blood source port is the only thing that's kept me from rebuying a digital version of Blood off of GOG.
