I heartily recommend Vietcong (I'm a great fan of FPS games as well). I wish its gameplay mechanics were used more often, I really liked the health bar approach they used over the usual 100% recovery (either using medi-kits or because of automatic regeneration). ;)

That Vietcong game seems pretty good, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Voted for it in the wishlist!
