Wraith: Not a GOG game, but the original Deus Ex would be interesting to do, given the various ways of completing the game. Especially since you could regulate the progression based on levels. Tons of options for comparison gameplay

Fenixp: Don't we just want to stick to the GoG games for now since those are the most probable to be played around here? I doubt more than 5 or 6 people will actively join the discussion as it is, and thinning that would only make it worse.

I for one owe Deus Ex and would like to finally finish it, it just doesn't strike me as a good idea to thin participants even further
I had just assumed that just about every single person here owned Deus Ex :D

But I do see you point.
We should play Serious Sam next, because shooters are amusing.

just a random idea with this game, you could have everyone in one coop server, and have everyone record their lets play videos at the same time. just an idea though.
EDIT: oh, you aren't doing videos. maybe i should have read the first post :P

We're just playing through games and then talking about them, not LPing the games.

yeah, i read the title "lets play together" and figured you were doing videos :P
It could also encourage a few good multiplayer games throughout that game's month. Partially solves the problem of no one being online at the same time. I know that I hardly get to appreciate more than a one on one from most of the shooters here.
I really enjoyed Serious Sam when I played it years ago, I would be totally up for playing that and co-op would be especially fun I think.

EDIT: I'm one of the few that don't own Deus Ex!

Well time is up for Let's Play Together #1!

If anyone played the game I hope you enjoyed yourself. There is a discussion thread in the BG&E forum if you're up for it.

I'm keen to start coming up with some ideas for our next game. I have exams coming up in the next few weeks so I'm not sure how much game time I can actually fit in.
If its a gog game, I'd need someone to gift me one every once in a while
As for the next game, I'd recommend a point-and-click adventure game. They're quick and not particularly time-consuming, so we should be able to get it done in a reasonable time frame even with exam season making itself known. I'd say Beneath a Steel Sky is a good choice, it's not only a good game but also free, so there's a good chance we'll get more participants this time around.

I second this choice for the next game.
It sounds good enough to me. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of interest here so I'm up for anything.
