nondeplumage: The horror...the horror...are the last words of the antagonist in the novel Apocalypse Now is based on, Heart of Darkness. That's where it originally comes from, and when it's used elsewhere it's usually a direct rip off of the film or book, especially when it's a comedy. Originally I remembered it wrong and thought it was the pony laying on her back who said it, which is why I thought it was off of the film.

But it's such a famous line that it's hard to imagine just being thought up by the writers without knowing where it came from.
It wasn't from either of those things. It's funny how you don't know shit about books or film.

So i was wondering what GOG's favourite ponies are, motivations are optional.

1) Rainbow Dash - at least 20% cooler than everything else on the show
2) Applejack - i don't know about you, but i love that accent
3) Derpy Hooves - Muffins!

4) Rarity - Initially i just thought she was the stuck up bitch of the show and hoped she'd get smacked in the face by someone, after suited for succes and the dog episode she really became a great character also her cutie mark story is the best.

5) Fluttershy - you rock, wooho
6) DJ P0n-3
7) Twilight Sparkle
8) Pinkie Pie - i don't actively dislike her, in fact i love the random crap she spouts, but other than that she's just well... so pink.

Honorable merntions:
Big Mac - Eeeyup
Scootaloo - out of the three he's the less annoying and the only pony that understand that Rainbow dash is the boss
Lyra (the green background pony) - i like her color scheme and how she sits for some reason

Rainbow Dash and Applejack are awesome. So is Twilight Sparkle. Those are my three favorites. Least favorite is Fluttershy, because I can't stand how meek she is.

I always thought fanfiction crossovers are even worse than normal fanfiction, well that's true unless you do it with ponies.

My favourite ponies are still Pinkie Pie and Rarity. But I have a soft spot for Twilight, because she is so damn cute.

My favourite side character is Lyra.
