I havent finished brotherhood yet...
They've been hinting at this pretty strongly for a while now. I mostly hope that they go and make it like AC2 and AC:B. But, it will be interesting to see what they do with the universe.

Yeah, AC2 and BH were the best imo as well. I was really disappointed with how AC3 turned out to be,
Heh, was talking to someone who works there - I see they made up their mind.

What do you mean? I got the feeling that they decided this about the time that they were declaring AC3 to be the end of this particular story.

Don't know how much he'd like me to say, but they had a meeting deciding the team or something. Can't really remember, have to ask again.

That's fine, don't say anything that's going to get anybody in trouble.

II would presume, that they hadn't chosen a new protag and setting. By the nature of the universe, they could go back to ancient Greece or somewhere in Asia with a different set of characters. As well as the empires in South America.

Somewhere like 15 century China would be pretty cool, though probably not likely. :) South America would be another one....

i've yet to start 2
I'm still on the fence should I buy the the games in between. 1st was a bit of a downer, 2nd was better, but not a homerun for me.

You should at least play AC:B, IMHO it's better than AC2.

Is it okay to play that one without having any others of the series? I have that on disc somewhere, but thought I would need AC1 first...
Despite the high sales numbers I thought the American revolution was kind of a failure as a setting for an Assassin's Creed game, so I am happy to hear a new era is coming. I hope it is Victorian London.

I also thought Assassin's Creed 3 was kind of poorly made. By the time I got to the traditional gameplay, like 6 hours in, I was so bored I moved on to another game. All the new mechanics fell flat for me as well. I still haven't finished it.

I loved 1 and 2 but it's been downhill since for me.
