Kabuto: That means no youtube either. Sheer madness.
You can run Youtube Flash-free.
The indie game by Strange Loop Games was just released and in addition to Steam, you can buy it via the [url=http://www.humblebundle.com/store/product/vessel]Humble Store checkout.

I think this is the first time, I see the store used by an indie game that is neither affiliated with Wolfire Games nor part of any previous indie bundle, but a completely new indie game, freshly released. If you buy it via the Humble Store, you get both a DRM-free copy and a Steam key.

I think this is awesome news and I'm really looking forward to the official opening of the shop. It also got my hopes up that this could be a way for Almost Human to sell a DRM-free version of "Legend of Grimrock". Please, let them be a part of this 'mysterious new indie shoppe'! ;)

Noticed it, too. This is great news; if they keep up this DRM-free & Steam key combo, I'm not going to buy my indies anywhere else.

EDIT: Ah, the dark side of necromancy: I'm repeating myself here.

Not really, Trine 2 has been sold like that for a while (not-DRM-free so far, though).

True, I forgot about that one, but I think it's still different, since Frozenbyte already had the first Trine in the Humble Bundle and even got a whole bundle named after themselves. ;)

Apparantly they're planning to add a DRM-free copy of Trine 2 to your account later on, if you buy via the Humble Store checkout.

Agree and yes, I saw that also.
That trailer... why can't more games be like that?

Has anyone here played Vessel yet? Is it good?

Question. If this store takes off, will it kill the HB bundles for the future and possibly other related bundles?.Im not completely sure having a one stop shop for indies is the way to go

I see no reason why it should kill the HB bundles or any other indie bundles, what makes you think that? And it will be far from being a one-stop shop for indies, there's still Desura, Indievania, GamersGate, Steam and a couple of other shops, plus the option to sell the game directly on your website. It's not about creating a one-stop but to open up new alternatives for devs and customers, and that's a good thing in my book.
