looking at Amanita store I found that they are selling Machinarium through the link from the Humble Indie Bundle Store:

http://www.humblebundle.com/store/product/Machinarium

Same for Samorost 2.

So, i checked other games and it's possible to buy Cogs or VVVVVV or Hammerfight

Not Shank, though.

Anyway, it seems that we should be seeing soon another DRM free only store with indie games.

Viva la DRM-free Revolution!

SMART. Very smart.

I <3 the Humble Bundle guys.
This has been rumored for a while. I don't know how successful will it be considering it removes 2 basic principles from the HIB: PWYW model and donation to charity. No Steam keys will also discourage the Steam fanboys.
I hope they suceed because it is always good to get DRM-Free games and specially if they are all multi platform.

Edit: $10 for Jack Claw? Seriously? The FrozenByte guys are idiots if they really want to charge that much for a tech demo.

I know that it was rumored, but now we have a proof something is coming, and probably it is coming soon.

Yeah, sorry if I made it sound as if it was old news. This is actually huge news and hopefully it goes live soon. Right now there are only product pages but I can't find the storefront. They'll most likely announce it on Twitter eventually. Thanks for sharing.

They will add games to the store after the bundles are over I guess.

Yes, this is most likely how it'll go but I wonder the viability of it considering that their millions of customers already got the games way cheaper as a bundle and the ones that missed the bundle may not want to pay full price for the games. Anyway, only time will tell if they succeed or not.
This does indeed look like the humble beginnings of a store. Could be interesting, after all they've shown an above average level of business sense so far. No, this is the games industry. Make that a far, far above average level of business sense.

There are always newcomers. I don't think the games featured in the bundles just end their cycle.
And selling games full price only to shove them in a bundle after a week would be more troublesome.
If all developers sell their games on their own sites through humble store then it might work out.

I think we may expect that all games on Humble Store will be drm free and cross platform.

Which would be amazing, because I can't imagine indie developer which wouldn't want to be on board.

Thus we may expect more indie developers going drm free (and steam-free) and more mac/linux games.

Interesting concept. Won't say no to another DRM-free outlet. The pricing is bit messed up though still.

I wonder the same about Splot.
I'll use them ONLY if they list the damn requirements for the game.

No Java and Flash, and then we can have business.
I think those prices are just placeholders for the moment, guys.

SLP2000: ...
Lmao, this is great! Now that they're as well known as Steam they're taking Steam's cut back. Go indies!

You realize Blizzard runs almost all of their server and netcode in Java, right?
