Just finished the demo, and I can definitely spare $10 for this project. I don't really have any new criticisms to add, just that the VO is uneven, The current combat is sucky, and the navigation between screens needs to be improved. Since it looks like those things are going to be addressed I think this could shape up to be a great tribute to the Sierra classics.

You, sir, are a true bro. /maximumbrofist
Heh. Thanks man. I know to some it's just a silly game, but it means a lot to me - and I put that into my work. I'm also fortunate enough to work with people who do the same. We're just going to make the best game we can.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the support from you good people here. Obviously, GoG is a favorite website of mine - bringing all these classic games out, and now introducing new classics... I love it here.

I should look into getting Quest For Infamy sold on GoG.com when it's done, eh?

Anyway - we're entering our last few days on the Kickstarter. It's been amazing. If you haven't checked out the demo yet, you can see it at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1992695780/quest-for-infamy-an-adventure-game-by-infamous-que and see what it's about!

Again, thanks guys. It's been awesome, and we're already working on the game like crazy!

Hey all,

Just a bump to let people know there is less than 48 hours to go with this kickstarter. If you haven't already backed it, have a think about it.

The devs need around $5k more for the "more game content" stretch goal, which is always good.
Backed, am a fan of Quest for Glory.

A lot of kickstarters have that goal, but I always thought it was very vague. We don't know how much "content" they are planning to include now. How do we know if they actually include more?

Anyway, glad this kickstarter has done well. Look forward to playing the finished game!

I thought somewhere the dev had stated what was going to be added. Gave a little bit of detail anyway.

You are right though, as with everything, any promise like this should be taken with a grain of salt. But that said, the developer at least gives the impression that he is a genuine guy who wouldn't intentionally screw people over. At one point he put in some rewards that some people thought were unfair and he fixed the problem like an absolute champion.

Who knows though, right?

Hey guys! I'm "That Developer", Steven "Blackthorne" Alexander. I've been regularly posting in here.

As for the additional content, I assure you - it's there to be added! My original script and outline for QFI was way too large to accommodate our plans at a lower budget. so I worked on a way to move events, people and quests to other sections, and simplify things. With the additional money raised, we've already planned to add some of the elements back in - we're at about 55k right now, so if we hit that full 60k, I'm sure we'll be able to add all the content I had to excise!

I'm very open about the game and things, so if you have any questions of me, please feel free to ask.

Man, I wish I can afford the big box tier. I'll have to settle for the DVD edition for now, and stake out eBay in future.

@Steven will we still be able to raise our pledges, say via Paypal, after the KS drive is over?

Yes, we'd be able to work that out for a while after the KS, sure.

Congrats on almost tripling your goal. I hope you have fun making this. Also, thanks for actually making a demo, that says something about how serious you are and your ability to pull this off.

Sure, just drop me an email - blackthorne@infamous-adventures.com and let me know when you want to do it. I'll help you out.

@orcishgamer - thanks, man! Yes, well - we've made several remakes before this, but we wanted to make sure before we launched a Kickstarter that we had a solid demo to show people. Too often I feel people start Kickstarters with a smattering of art and a few blurbs about the game. If people are going to pledge their money, I want to show them how serious and committed we are to making and completing a game.
