Found a spare code for Realms of Arkania 3 in my belongings then decided to create my first giveaway in GOG (I had some for GOG's group in SG, but never created one in the forums). After managing to win a few games here, it's time to give back to this fantastic community (thanks samlii for yesterday surprise generosity).

The only rule is I post what aspects you like in a RPG: SP ou MP? Single character or party? More or less combat? What about things like exploration, crafting and others?

Will choose the winner through random.org in Sunday.

.
Not in but cheers to you!
Not in but +1

I like single-player the most, preferably with a NPC party of which I am the leader . I'm OK with any amount of combat if the interface is decent and the story is good . I like exploring too, but not much into crafting .
Definitely in, cheers.

Every once in a while I get a hankering for a complicated, difficult, stat and skill driven RPG with many fully customizable party members, and I have fun with it.
However, my very favorite RPG games are the Gothic series and Fallout 1-2, which are fairly light on complicated party management or in-depth combat systems. So I suppose exploration is what tickles my fancy the most.
Not in, but thank you gandalf :-)

I like to have a single character, it's better for me with his abilities and skills. I play only SP RPG, and I like fights ! Turn based are great, but I like action games, so real time is good too :-)
I'm in :)

+1 Thanks in advance

I like SP for the deeper immersion... ;P or should it be called escapism? ;)
I like complex game mechanics to explore and exploit... like FTL (ok not really RPG) or Grimrock recently. :)

EDIT: have a better example I LOVED the Age of Decadence demo... hard, unforgiving, complex turn-based combat mechanic ... preordered!

SP (never tried MP). Party, more variety in skills, teamwork strategy. Amount of combat: medium rare. Love exploration. Crafting, when it's done right, like not using up rare gems for crafting (cause then you just hoard them till endgame).

In please. I like Party Turn based RPG best . I like that you mix strategy with adventure and story while building your men and women up like a small army. +1
I'll enter :)

I like having a party d&d style the best. For exploration, combat, crafting and all the other nuts and bolts of an RPG, I enjoy them all but only if they are done well. For example Skyrim has lots of exploration, but the loot is boring and all the monsters are scaled to your level. There's lots of combat, but the underlying combat system is uninteresting. Crafting consists of churning out iron daggers to pump up the crafting skill. Although I enjoy all of these things, they weren't done right (IMO) in this game and so I didn't like them that much. (I did play it through to the end and enjoyed some aspects of the game, but it makes a good example for these mechanics you are talking about). To contrast, I think Baldurs Gate 2 did all of these things right and is one of my favorite games of all time!
I am in ^^

I like different stuff in different RPGs for different Reasons.

I like playing as a party more, it feels more complete to me, but still games like Deus Ex where you roleplay a single person belong to my favourite games.

I associate two different feeling with a party and with a single charakter and its very hard to describe them.

A party for me means more dynamics, a broader scope, its more about the story.

A single charakter is more about how to do things.

As i said, hard to describe.
I'm in. Many thanks for the chance!

I prefer:
- single player rpg (I've tried only SW:TOR as mmorpg, liked it, but not as much as my good old single player games)
- Both, party and single character, I love Gothic, Witcher, Fallout, but also Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate, Kotor, etc. I love both play styles.
- Mixed. I love dialogues and choices as much as fighting. Every game needs a good balance.
- I love to explore, discover and usually I do all the subquest.
I'm in.
I play RPGs to find out the story that it tells and to explore a world that is, in many ways, more interesting then ours. I prefer single player, I don't like combat that much but that's mostly because a lot of the combat in RPGs is terrible. I love exploring and crafting, and they kind of fuel each other because I explore that stuff and use that stuff in crafting.
Not in, but +1.
I like single player RPGs, both party and single character. I prefer turn based or real time with pause. And I many times solo party based rpgs too (like BG)
I'm in, thank you for the giveaway +1.

My favorite part of RPG gaming is world exploration. I like detailed environments with assorted characters and secrets.
Thanks for the giveaway! Count me in :)

I prefer single player to multiplayer, although I've yet to find a multiplayer RPG that scratches the itch, so maybe I just need to look harder (and get some friends to play). I also prefer a single person, as parties are hard to manage. I like even amounts of combat, puzzles, and dialogue (as long as 2 of the 3 are interesting enough). Exploration is very important to me, too.
