I'm interested in JRPGs but tbh I don't know much outside of FF, Dragon Quest,Pokemon and Persona. (Small bit of the mana series) so what would people recommend?

Nier (just the story, the gameplay itself sucks)
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne
Final Fantasy Tactics (same as Nier but opposite)

Oh and SMT 1 & 2 (the SNES games) have fan translations, they are very cool and are rather like old-school turn-based Western RPGs)
Parasite Eve
Chrono Trigger, Tactics Ogre.
Also Breath of Fire and Tales of... series.
The Suikoden games.
Also, the Disgaea series (assuming you're interested in SRPG's).
Playstation 1:

Grandia (awful voice acting, great everything else)
Chrono Cross
Legend of Dragoon
Star Ocean: The Second Story
Jade Cocoon (kind of like Pokemon, but with a deep mythology behind it)

Super Nintendo:

Lufia 2 (it's a prequel, so you can safely skip the atrociously-dated first one)
Chrono Trigger
Earthbound
Breath of Fire (kind of generic, but still fun)
Breath of Fire 2 (full of missing punctuation, but still a great game)

iOS:

The Chaos Rings games. Especially 2, which is easily one of my favorite jRPGs to date, and a game that far too few people have heard of.

Lets see, let's see... Radiant Historia for the DS is great, as is Grandia 2 for the Dreamcast or PC or PS2. Tales of Phantasia, too... which I think is for the Game Boy Advance and maybe the PSP, can't remember. Also, if Japanese action-RPGs count as jRPGs, be sure to look into a fan-translated ROM of the brilliant Japan-only Seiken Densetsu 3.
Any Final Fantasy that takes place in Ivalice:

XII, War of the Lions, Tactics Advance, Tacttics A2 Grimore of the Rift, XII Revenant Wings, and Vagrant Story.
Genesis:
Phantantasy Star 2-3-4
PC:
Breath of FIre IV

What do you mean by JRPG - do you mean turn-based RPGs, or do you mean RPGs that are developed in japan?
Mother (NES)
EarthBound (SNES)
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Radical Dreamers (SNES)
Mother 3 (GBA)

Nope, it's a port/remake (has some online something or other). Got it cheap at retail.

Yeah, because if you just mean games with that style of combat then Anachronox all the way, baby!
