I thought the fact that it was included in the OP meant it was covered. But yes I'd certainly recommend it. I loved that game back in the day and will get that pack when my backlog is a bit less insane or there's a sale... Sale it is then.

I did mention Battle Isle, but only briefly, so its easy to see why it would be missed. It's what made me start the thread.

I started with Panzer General and Battle for Wesnoth. My social life will suffer accordingly.

Oh, and I remembered that game I mentioned earlier. It is called Galactic Assault: Prisoner of Power. Based off novels from the Noon universe, from the guys who wrote Roadside Picnic from which the movie and game STALKER have taken elements. Well the movie is closer to the book, the game just has some idea's in common.

You're right. How can we have forget Battle of Wesnoth. It is freeware - and outstanding. Try it.
