Lifthrasil: Still no reply from gog about the missing german version? I must say after the initial enthusiasm I am starting to feel disappointed. If gog decides to offer a natively german game only in an english translation with inferior voice acting, it would at least be fair to comment on that and answer the questions of the customers. I would be very interested to know the reasons for this strange decision.
Also: I am not going to buy the game in an 'english only' version. That's another reason that I would like to know, whether gog plans to correct their 'missing original language' mistake, or if I have to buy the game somewhere else.
probably because the German edition isn't "missing". i suppose GOG only buys publishing rights for English editions most of the time. or maybe another distributor has exclusive rights to the German edition, but i doubt that. grumbel: Steam does provide all languages, but it is not a multi-lingual game. You can't switch the language in the option menu, instead Steam has to sync in the new language files.
are you being nitpicky or something? how is that not multilingual? i don't care where or how you can select the language. it only matters that you can. wut? how come DotEmu has no problem with offering multilingual editions? Sacred - Gold, for example, is offered as a multilingual single stand-alone installer on DotEmu. are you trying to tell me GOG couldn't do that?
