So much for the boycott (if indeed it was legit and not a publicity stunt)

200,000 units in 2 weeks? Not bad for a small game like this

Nice to see that....Here's hoping for a PC version since I don't own any consoles...
Yeah with record popularity I think it increases the odds of a conversion and PC is the most logical choice for it.
You know it'll just be a steam exclusive if they do it though

-Horrible creatures
-I avoid them whenever I can :D
I hope for a PC port as well, though this is from Epic, right? They're all pissy because Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3 sold like crap.
its from developers owned by epic, it might be a bit different
Not like they've got anyone but themselves to blame for Gears not selling well, most of the people likely to buy it had bought the 360 version a year earlier

I'm wary of the hype.
Oddly enough it really is a good solid game that pretty much lives up to the hype. Nothing especially revolutionary but a solid bit of metroidvania action with a good pragmatic hidden ending as well as the proper one. Most of the 1200 point stuff I've bought I've finished and felt a bit under-served for the price but not with SC

This wouldn't happen to be because they were shitty console ports (especially GoW) rather than actual PC games, now would it? They crapped on their core audience, and lo and behold, it crapped back.
Wasn't Gears of War also a DRM-laden clusterfuck as well as being poorly ported over?
In any case, last I heard Epic were in the EA camp now. So that, combined with the fact that Epic pretty much hate the PC now, doesn't bode well for a PC release. Even if EA are, at this moment in time, beginning to pull their heads out of their collective arse, I don't see Epic doing the same.
I seem to recall Gears had some authentication issue with an expired certificate

Yet more proof that games with such DRM are merely rentware. I know they'll fix it/have fixed it, but it will still one day expire again.
