keeveek: But besides "What's a paladin", it's ... playable... I'm serious.... After it was patched it can be played....
Yes indeed. If you ignore its place in the Ultima lore and just see it as its own separate entity, it is an alright game. There are a lot of better games out there, mind you, but I don't regret having played through it.
You could hide it so it doesn't display on your shelf.

Rodzaju: Don't ask him.
Gift it to the GOG support team & ask that they insert it into his shelf....

mrking58: Contacting the support team right now :)
What else do you to for fun, ship random people copies of "Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"? ;)

You guys are a buncha conniving, sneaky tricksters...and by "conniving, sneaky tricksters" I mean hilarious and I clearly need to hang out in this forum more often.

To those who responded with "you can just hide it" I say this: you cannot hide evil. Not really. Haven't you read "The Tell-Tale Heart"?
oh come on,you want to know what a paladin is.

Marchhare: No! no! Noooooooooooooo!
You know comrades (may I call you "comrades"?) I think we've uncovered a gap in the market with potentially limitless economic potential - digital white elephant gifts (gag dlc, if you will).

I'm envisioning a GOG offshoot named BOG, which exists for the sole purpose of purchasing games to inflict on friends and family - the catalogue could start with Ultima 9, MOO 3...a spot-on emulation of the Atari ET game (or we could just dig up all the carts buried in landfills...I bet they still "work").

You know, that sort of quality entertainment.

I normally expect to be compensated for my advertising copy, GoG, but you're welcome to "Egad! I've been BOGged!" as a tagline.

Better jump on it fast though, Steam's got the licensing agreements to corner the market if we're not quick.

(I actually do like Steam, for the record)

Nice way to force a game upon a player :D

"Welcome to GOG - here we reserve the RIGHT to force games upon you - no matter what condition (mental/physical?) you're in. The glowing staff of GOG takes NO responsibility for any injuries you may suffer."
