Rifftrax, MST3K's sequel kinda, is doing a rebroadcast of their live Plan 9 from Outer Space riffing.
I won't be able to go but I was wondering if there were any MST3K/Rifftrax/Cinematic Titanic fans around here.
And if you didn't know the MST3K guys were still doing their thing over at Rifftrax (hosted by Mike Nelson but Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy regularly guest riff) and Cinematic Titanic (hosted by Joel Hodgson with Mary Jo Pehl, Trace Bealieu and Frank Coniff as guests) well then I guess today's your lucky day.
Rifftrax does more modern movies and Cinematic Titanic has been sticking to B-movies; they seem to do more live shows as well. I'll shamefully admit I haven't seen CT's stuff but I was aware of it and thought it was worth mentioning.
And please refrain from Mike vs. Joel debates, the fact that they have two different websites doesn't help, I know, but let's everybody agree they each have their own merits and move on.
