MikeMaximus: If i can actually come up with a name that isn't taken i'll make a bounty hunter, probably a tank powertech, to hang out with you guys on covenant

StingingVelvet: I bet if you are a tank and I'm a healer we can do heroic 4's with our companions.
That's what i'm hoping. I haven't tried Powertech tanking yet but it seems promising. You get access to some good ranged abilities but it's still mostly melee focused.

I was a scoundrel healer partnering a lot with a guardian tank and we could do all the heroic 4s we tried except for one on Belvavis we had a dps with us and it was still hard but I think the guardian was under geared. (We didn't try the Corellia or voss ones though but we did some of the bonus series on Hoth heroics). FPs may still be too difficult to do especially Collicoid War games with only two players. Also Foundry's midboss may be very difficult with only two players (the republic mission at around the same level is easier).

One thing though is remember to pay attention and have your companions attack the weaker enemies especially during boss fights. There is one heroic on the republic version of Balmara which is very hard to do unless you're killing the weaker monsters during the boss.
I've only done one flashpoint, the first one, and I did it solo.

I hate multiplayer, honestly. I'm offering to team up with some people here to try it out, basically.

I absolutely hate multiplayer on SWTOR except when I play with my brother so we fail together.

The first fp is much easier than the later ones. The mobs aren't typically that hard in flash points compared to Heroic 4s but some of the bosses are really difficult at least to me.

I typically not into multiplayer games at all but this game sucked me in . I was like ooh this is basically like Star Wars KOTOR III then somehow with my second character I started grouping.

The first FP is much easier than the higher level ones, it's actually balanced for 2 players instead of 4.

From my experience, mutliplayer for FPs and heroic quests is fine, but other quests and especially your story quest are balanced for soloing. In other words, if you group all the time, most of the content will feel way too easy.

Yeah I figured. I'll team up with some people here just to try it out but I assume I will still solo 99% of the time.

Probably best to solo everything on a planet then group up for heroics all at once before leaving. I'm having fun with my powertech, but it's disappointing that legacies are not account wide, I miss my 15 second cooldown rocket boots.

Oh I know, I just mean in general I prefer to solo. It should be fun to try something different and team up with some of you guys though.

It's nowhere near essential though dude, I'm not gonna be super Mr. Team or anything. Go back to your server if you really want, for sure. I wouldn't spread to another server in a million years lol.

Beyond my rocket boots, which I bought with my complimentary cartel coins when I subbed for a month, I don't really have anything else invested in my legacy on Harbinger. The market on Jedi Convenant seems much more active and cheaper as a result, as well as general chat having more people actually talking about the game instead of racial slurs and endless people insulting each other for no reason.

I may just switch permenantly after i'm done with my current toon on Harbinger (and spend all her creds on unlocks). I'm not really much of an end game player in any MMO anyway, I enjoy the journey and not the endless gear grind at the end to feel powerful.

Could you not just mail your rocket boots to your characters in the Jedi Covenant?

I wish, but they are a character ability unlock as part of your legacy, not an actual equippable item. I'm not even sure if you are able to mail cross servers. :(

EDIT: My bad it's actually called Rocket Boost, not boots. :D

I was intrigued about the Rocket boots as well, wondering how awesome my Sith Inquistor would become, imagine: flying through the air like iron man and spawning lightning, causing mayem and raining down destruction from above. Instant win I would say...

Apart from that, I enjoy playing on multiple servers. I'm having trouble on servers where are too many similar characters in the beginning. Especially if they kill all the enemies and you just a trail of dead bodies while you enter a supposedly "secret" area.

BTW, I hate the people that were on the servers I played prior to quitting. Such vile people who insult and talk about Disney killing Star Wars. Asking for help means being crapped on.
