Khadgar42: I was intrigued about the Rocket boots as well, wondering how awesome my Sith Inquistor would become, imagine: flying through the air like iron man and spawning lightning, causing mayem and raining down destruction from above. Instant win I would say...
I really wish it made you feel that cool using rocket boost, it actually looks pretty lame to be honest, especially if you turn. :D But if you have any cartel coins Rocket Boost is the best way to spend them. 110% movement speed for 15 seconds, instant cast and you can use them indoors. Saves you tons of useless travel time, fully upgraded ones you can use every 30 seconds and they begin cooldown immediately so you actually only go 15 seconds at sprint speed before you can use them again. Hell you don't even really need a speeder anymore.
I have 200 free cartel coins but the speed boots are like 800, which is pretty high.

If I buy anything I'll probably just go all out and buy the Hutt Cartel expansion.

That would be the best thing to spend your cash on. You do get cartel coins from select achievements now and they'll add up eventually, even just rank 1 boost isn't the worst thing to buy with 400. I finally got my account wide artifact equipment unlock tonite, some nice fellow sold one to me for the 350k cap after I advertised sporadically in trade for 3 hours while watching some tv. Since that unlock is roughly $25 to buy flat out I feel it was time well spent.
Playing tonight with Mike I was reminded of an awesome change they made. All the planet medals used to be specific to each planet, so early medals were useless later on. Now though I can go back and do a lower level quest and be rewarded with medals, which I can use to buy higher level gear and mods.

So that's cool.

No way! I had a whole truck load of old medals that I only wished I could use to get better gear but they all seemed to be useless. The gear I manage to buy with it was nowhere near decent!

Yeah they're now all generic "Planet Commendations," only the level requirement of the gear matters. It's pretty sweet.
It sounds like there have been some changes! I might need to check it out again -- in fact, lemme just get it updating right away.

If I ever come back, I will enlist your help to kill the blast lady of whom I don't recall her name. LOL.
If 4 of us ever play at the same time we should start a GOGGERS guild, lol.

Oh man, that hurts, lol.
Messed around with the Trooper tonight and man is that a fun class to play.

Trooper is pretty fun, the highest i've gotten is 14 though. I've been playing a Sith Marauder, which i'm finding gets better and better as you go. At the start I was little worried, you seem so underpowered and die easily. You get a second companion (healer) at the end of Balmora thankfully which helps a lot with playing solo.

Well trooper is fun to play, more tactical and fast than the Jedi Knight I tried playing on Republic side. I also mean the story and class missions are more fun though. I've never been big on jedi stuff honestly, Han Solo and Boba Fett are the people I love in Star Wars. So it makes sense I like the shooty classes.
I did not like the Trooper story so much. I do like the Trooper class itself though. I think I enjoyed the Sith Inquisitor more, but it's a shame that I did not build a healer and I realized too late!
