My wife comes home from work last night and tells me "You HAVE to hear this song they played on the radio this morning, it is the worst song ever made!" Now, I have a tendency to be a bit of a music snob, so when somebody, especially my wife, tells me something is "the worst song ever", my first thought is "I'll be the judge of that".

Well, I am going to say something here that I don't admit easily and it is probably something that you will never hear a husband genuinely say about their wife ever again...

My wife is right.

Yes, this is the worst song ever made and worse than that, it is exploding on YouTube like Justin Bieber's chest in that CSI episode. Experience the horror for yourself:

Female Bieber. Good lord. The only thing worse they that is if they do a collaboration song together.

The first video does have ONE thing going for it - they didn't use that stupid frickin' "gargle mic" that's showing up in all pop songs these days.

That would be the wonders of Auto-Tune pitch correcting technology, and that song does use it extensively, just not in an obvious manner like many current songs do.

I noticed that too. Having taken up singing lessons before, it's not hard to tell that her voice wasn't powered from the diaphragm, and it would be as flat as a pancake without the auto-tuning.

My previous comment there was something like "Disabling ratings DOESN'T STOP ME FROM PRESSING THE THUMBS DOWN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE." It wasn't approved.

Now I said that I hope the girl is smart and uses the money she's making out of that travesty to get some singing lessons.
