I can't decide which is worse: the original or the live version. Both are horrible in their own right.

thelovebat: After hearing her say in that Good Morning America interview that the point of it was to be "catchy so it stuck in your head" really doesn't give off the vibe that she wants to take singing seriously.
How did you come to that conclusion? She's right. That IS the point of pop music. I actually thought that was an amusing and well handled response considering the criticism from the guy.

I didn't know she was 13 years old. I thought that "they let 13 year olds drive?" was a joke. She is getting way too much criticism for somebody that age

edit- wow I like the word "actually" way too much

Oh, Brian Haner (Guitar Guy on the Jeff Dunham stand up specials and the father of Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold) uploaded the sequel to the song.

Brian Haner - Saturday

Not the fact that this has been done to death and it wasn't funny after the very first time?
I accept as the worst as anything made since 2000. All the great music albums with the great songs came out in the last century.
That ABC interview was brutal because I ending up hearing more of the song that what I originally put up with the first time.

Then she said, sing the national anthem. Well this isn't so bad maybe she can oh boy that got bad in a hurry.

Look people saying she should cut herself and get an eating disorder is way out of line. But regular critiscism like my ears are bleeding and this is the worst song ever is fair game. Just because your 13 doesn't mean you releasse crap. I mean Michael Jackson sung (and I mean sung) ABC at age 11. Frankie Lymon released "Why do fools fall in love" at age 13.

And she confirmed my fears when she said she wants to do a duet with Bieber. This just in, earplug sales up 1000000%.

Actually, a national "Worst Song Ever" countdown, done in America, back around (IIRC), 2004 or so named "We Built This City on Rock and Roll" by Jefferson Starship as the worst song ever.

That song is absolutely terrible and it always saddens me that Jefferson Airplane (favorite band) eventually evolved into Starship.

While that song deserved #1 worst alltime status, Friday is still worse.

I agree, "Starship" should've never happened, or they at least should've stopped before that wrote that travesty.....
To go from a history of "White Rabbit", "Today", "Volunteers", "Crown of Creation", "Lather" (my favorite) to "We Built This City"...............
