Toys 'R Us recently had a blowout deal with physical copies of Diablo 3 for $9 dollars. The nearest one to me is about 30 minutes away though, and unfortunately D3 wasn't even worth the extra gas money to drive up there and pick up a copy. I guess it's probably worth 9 to 15 dollars but I decided to pass anyways. I tried the beta on two separate occasions and it was one of the most boring gaming experiences in my entire life, and I love action RPG's.

Also, I've found that Wal-Mart can catch you by surprise sometimes. They have a shelf full of bargain games and you can occasionally find some gems in there. I purchased Age of Empires 1 and 2 with all expansions for 5 bucks, and HOMM V with both expansions for 5 also. I usually make it a point now to swing through the software isle just to make sure they don't have any other classics on that bargain shelf.
Just picked up a couple Retail Deals:

1. Mage Knight Apocalypse - $1.89
2. Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel - $0.50
3. Neverwinter Nights 2 - Gold - $2.99 X (2)

That's some gaming goodness for less than a 10 spot.

Story for #3

The game boxes were marked defective but I took them anyway - Turns out whoever bought them didn't run the updater, because immediately after install the game would not run but after running the updater (I am thinking about 15 - 20 updates later) it runs fine for me.
Yeah, sometimes thrift stores or Goodwill can have some pretty cool stuff.

Heck, even though I have Majesty 2, I'd buy it again for that price! Go back and buy it and send it to me. (haha)
The two main retailers here EB Games and JB Hifi hardly ever have any bargains :/.

nmillar: Borderlands 2 + Chivalry: Medieval Warfare + Darksiders II: Limited Edition.

£4.02.

:)
And the Steam codes were still valid? If so, that's an impressive haul.

Yep, all valid Steam coded. I have them all registered, but only played a little bit of Borderlands 2 so far. All about being in the right place at the right time!

Borderlands 2 is superb at what it does (first person Diablo with guns). It's better still with coop - which you can take as an open invite.
I snatched a copy of Longbow 2 & Havets Vargar (old Swedish PC game) for 1€ each relatively recently, both were boxed and complete, and Longbow 2 was unopened (though the plastic wrapping was in a rather poor shape, so I removed it)
Some years ago, shortly after the release of the U.S. version of Beatmania, I was able to pick it up from Gamestop for $30, including the DJ controller. That is a fantastic deal; those controllers retail for something like $100 on the secondary market.
