It's either visa (because the second card isn't linked to my bank) or GOG's problem - but my bank visa had no problems buying LOTR 2 from GOG.com a Sunday or two ago...

I too have been blocked today with a Visa and a MC. I am not getting that extra secure popup like I should. In the past both of these cards were used succcessfully on GOG. With the Visa I called the bank and they are not even seeing a rejection like they should.

I am still having this problem with the credit cards - I sent them a support email about the time I made the first post but have received no response as yet. Thank you tacitus59 - I don't have a MC to test with (just an AMEX, which they don't take for fairly obvious reasons), but at least we've narrowed it down to a better educated guess that it is a problem with GOG.com, not Visa, because it would be very strange for Mastercard to also not work if there was only a problem with Visa cards.
I hope this problem is resolved soon - I'd really like this deal. I will continue to try again and again intermittently, and I hope that if they can't get it resolved this weekend perhaps there can be some sort of rain check.

My Visa card is also being rejected and is not showing the extra security popup from Verified by Visa. I thought it might have been because of my new card (new expiration date), but its been fine on Steam and elsewhere. I checked the Verified by Visa site and everything seemed fine there as well.

I sure hope so, too. This is a fantastic deal. I also sent them a support email, but have not received a response yet either. Let's hope they can work something out for us.

I have Visa Classic card, I connected it to my paypal account 2 years ago, and I have been paying with paypal everywhere since then - gog, steam, ebay, gamersgate, direct2drive.. - and I never had a single problem, everything is fast, smooth and perfectly working.So I would recommend that.

We have a temporary problem processing credit cards on our website. We're currently working on resolving that. It should be fixed within 1-2 hours from now. I'll write back to let you know when everything is ok.

Thanks Venom. Unfortunately, when I was using my Visa card, I used an ECA promo code for 20% off, and I'm afraid it's been used up. I emailed support so hopefully you guys can help me out.

We've resolved the payment problem and everything should be back to normal now.

I can confirm my Visa payment (Prince of Persia; already bought BG&E when it was first announced at GOG) went through properly, and included the 'Verified by Visa' popup.

Maybe look into the steam gog group members. To see if hes in there.

There are that MANY? Jesus, I need to choose a different name when I make profiles. Dont worry about it, I got some money coming in for me anyways.=)
