DreadMoth: Just installed it, seems to be working well (only been to the menu so far) with the patches Huff linked to and these compatibility settings:

Run the program in compatibility mode for Windows 98 / Windows ME.
Run this program as an administrator.

Huff: The only thing that doesn't work for me is the intro' video.
avatar
DreadMoth: Yeah, the game froze when I clicked on the intro button...

Playing "intro.bik" in the "X:\Program Files (x86)Activision\WizardsWarriors\movie" folder with VLC / Media Player Classic or the Rad Video Tools seems to work well.
Might want to avoid "book.bik", I think it might be the ending movie.
Glad the game is working. I'll take a look at the videos, thanks
First thing I noticed when I started making a character :S
There's a graphic mod that enhances resolution and makes it look smoother
Wizards & Warriors Graphics Patch

:) i'll install this tomorrow maybe works on win 8 x64 with all patches

The unofficial patches may have fixed some problems
I remember trying out that graphics patch, but whenever I tried to set the resolution higher than 800x600 the game looked completely horrible and blurry, worse than default resolution

It looks like this using the graphics patch set to 1280x960 (800x600 resolution selected in-game)
UI is pixelated (but not blurry), and the 3D window is pretty crisp.
It'd be nice if there was a way to extend the draw distance a bit more.

not bad
Now that I've looked at that screenshot again I think there's more misaligned textures than just the top-left character model. Do some of the trees and the signpost look wrong to anyone else?

EDIT: The bottom of the tree trunk texture starts half-way up the model :S

The few enemies I've fought near the town look normal, though.

Huff: The only adjustment i had to make was in the ingame options. When in the towns, a mouse click would zoom from one end of the town to the other, so the building in the middle would never show in the middle of the screen.
Anyone else having this issue, try capping the framerate to 60 (V-sync works).

EDIT: Sorry for double-posting.
