bansama: That's actually good news, as you will most certainly get the account back. The bad news is, that this probably happened due to some idiot at the CC company/or Valve hitting the wrong key on a computer somewhere which caused the dispute.
I hope so. I just got the reply from my credit card provider and they show the transaction was approved and not disputed <natch> so I assume this is a cock up on Steam's end of things. Waiting for their reply now.
In the case of a disputed payment then Steam should contact a person immediatley and not leave this hanging for over 3 Months. I will be telling them how I feel quite strongly once this is all resolved but until it is I will continue to be an exemplar of politeness. You catch more bees with honey than shit after all.
After this is resolved I will probably be writing a long letter to Steam about the whole incident.
