1) All those junk items that you pick up should be in a separate list not in the all items one - it sucks ass having to scroll through everything in your inventory looking for 1 or 2 things
2) If I'm on the Inventory screen why can't I just jump to the Journal screen. Why do I have to back out to the game screen and then press the button for the journal?
3) The list of Diagrams and Formulas are all mashed together which make it very hard to tell which ones you have. They should be separated and in some kind alphabetical order.
4) No way to set any map markers of your own - I shouldn't have to constantly check the map for directions
5) No mark on the mini-map pointing North - that's basic to every RPG game I've ever played in the last ten years
6) You shouldn't have to spend 6 points to unlock the other skills - 3 maybe
7) There is no visual cue on when to press the button again when you're fighting, like the first game, or it's too subtle and easily missed
I agree with everything cept number 7 does anyone know a good inventory system from other games we could suggest witcher2 can imitate?
Agree with all but 6 and 7. In fact, I'd like a mod to get rid of the riposte visual icon; I'd rather try to read enemy animations.
The alchemy system switching back to some really valuable ingredient you don't want to craft with after every potion is pretty obnoxious. And yeah, you should be able to freely swap between menu screens in a game this menu screen intensive.

On #7, though, W2 isn't timing-based like W1. The sword combat plays more like a hack-and-slash.

most of your points are already fixed by numerous mods, and may I add there already is a topic to list all things you wish to change, here :

All ar viable criticisms, though i dont agree with 6 or 7.

Hopefully they alomg with many other issues raised in the above link are fixed soon by CDRed as they will want the game to be good for the Xbox launch where people cant use mods to fix things.

Actually if the camera moves too close Geralt will disappear as well.
