ok i had the 9999 bag mod but after downloading 1.06 patch that mod no long works and because the nexusmods website security doesn't like my ip address i can't download the updated version (if there is one).

PLEASE give us a storage option, i really dont get why there isn't this facility in the game to start with. ---SPOILER--- lol i have a castle that had my bed in it before my ex through it out the window, how come i cant just store my gear there?

i'm now 230/160 and have to sell witcher gear to go under wieght :). This xxxxes me offf
Yeah, the lack of storage boggles the mind.

Why can't Keira lend Geralt her hideaway for instance ? Just 2 or 3 chest in there and, presto, storage and a place to relax without much of a fuss or need for extra assets.

Edit: damn you letters *waves fist*

Its a joke, we had storage in TW2. I've spent most of my time trying to sell stuff because i'm always over weight and merchants just don't have enough cash, so i'm walking around trying to sell stuff. I FEEL LIKE A MERCHANT in this game :( .
The stuff i have i wanna keep, ie Trophies 25 of my weight just there (why should i have to sell them), 3 sets of witcher gear(shouldn't have to sell them either), mats (need them) and other assorted armor that i wanna try with different builds.

SIMPLE, just add a chest. Its a great game and took some serious work to make it, so adding a storage chest can't be that hard :(

Why do you need 3 Witcher gears? Just have one on you, then craft when you need an other or get bored of the one you have. The recipes are really cheap anyways.
Also hide weights a lot, try to sell those off.
I don't have any problem with the weight. But I do have a problem with the lack of filtering and management of the inventory, because when you have a lot of potions/oils it gets confusing at time consuming to find the right oils.

Because any half decent RPG gives you storage, and I would rather hold onto my gear for upgrade later on when I reach the right level rather than have to go on and craft it all from scratch. Otherwise, what is the point of crafting and upgrades at all?
The lack of this option is actually spoiling the game for me in a BIG way, and I am a huge proponent of the Witcher 3 :-( :-(
This option was in 1 and 2, why strip it away for this game? Makes NO sense.

Gog/CDPR, are you listening?

Maybe ur right about the 3 Witcher sets, but still dont get why i cant have them if i want or beable to store them, having to craft and rune/glyph them up everytime i fancy a change is complete bs. As for hides i already sell all junks.

I kinda like it. It makes me consider what I really need and want and pronounces the feeling of being a monster hunter instead of a hoarder or trader. Fits the overall atmosphere of the game and my impression of Geralt very well. He doesn't appear to bother much for such things to me.

Though I wouldn't be opposed to a storage chest or something in Kaer Morhen. That would also be fitting imo. :)

The castle and Keira's cottage are now effectively abandoned. Don't you loot such places?
Novigrad is in the hands of the brigands of the infernal flame. Triss' house was not secure it was looted. What is to stop any house you own from being looted?
The most secure bank is owned by a dwarf (who was previously arrested). What is to stop in infernal flame from acquiring his bank in Novigrad?
How many villages in Velen and Skellige did you find abandoned, destroyed by monsters, or taken over by bandits?

So, were would you find secure storage for your valuables?
I also want a Stash.
I'm usually overweight too, in part because I cannot find anyone with enough gold to buy all my goodies.
if they make a global chest, the horse races will be partially useless.

just keep what you need in terms of weapon and armor. keep 1 or 2 swords in case you need to sell them.

in the end you will have more than what you need.
Love finishing games with 100k crowns and 500 weight worth of shit that I will never use for anything.

Would love to have Keiras hide away lets hope its easier to mod than 2 so then we may get it.
Sell it all and stop keeping a heap of crap you dont need. Problem solved!

Might have to do that. Apparently, this weeks dlc is Wolf gear treasure hunt (well, someone has posted it is) so now I will be carrying 3 sets of armor and weapons, I just sold 80 weight of mats and gear so that I could run and I'm still at 156/160.
People don't be a hoarder. It's a mental disease. You really don't need all that junk. In fact everything in the junk column is JUNK. Sell all that stuff. In fact don't even take it if you don't need money. Same for all hebs. Sell them. If you really need something to make a potion the merchant will sell it.

The ONLY, repeat ONLY things you can't buy are monster stuff. But you'll only ever need 10-20 of any monster item. I made all the armor in two schools and made almost every type of potion, bomb and mutagen. The only time I couldn't is because I lacked a monster part. All the rest you can easily buy.

So do yourself a favor. get well and sell that stuff. You'll fell much better and be true to the game. Geralt was a nomad type guy that would set out for a year or two. His home was Ker Morhen and after TW3 with Yen/Triss or alone. He had no storage places. Witchers aren't like that. They are poor and spend their money on booze, women and gambling.

If you MUST then just drop the crap on the floor at some place where the quests won't impact it. It will stay there.
