Nirth: What resolution are you running? 1080p here.
Same.

ea22: But the mouse/camera acceleration is way too fast and it seems like changing the sensitivity(says right stick) has no effect. It's annoying as hell, am I the only one with this problem been searching some forums and it seems like no one has complained about this. Anybody else?
avatar
Nirth: No, I have it too. Not sure how they manage to screw that up not to mention leave out mouse sensitivity from the main settings but I hope more people on the official forum have it so some employee take notice.
Cool so does anyone else have the same problem? Should we make a thread? Playing like this is almost impossible for me, how the hell do they mess up mouse sensitivity.

EDIT SOLUTION:

So apparently the mouse sensitivity setting doesn't appear if you have hardware cursor on, so just turn it off fine tune your settings(after its off the settings will appear in the control settings I think) and the turn it back on when satisfied.

Here is a where I got the solution in case this doesn't work for you:

manicminds: Hey need your thoughts on this
after I updated Witcher 3 to 1.0.7 when I Try to launch I get a window poping up saying something like MatcherCountError 0 != 1 H%\$
What is this?
There was a report and solution for this on the steam forums. You have to rename something like dsound.dll to dsound2.dll. You will have to google it.
The update resets your settings. A pop up will let you know this but doesn't stay on screen for very long.
First thing I noticed was that all my fast travel markers were temporarily missing. They reappeared after the camera warped 3,000 feet into the air and slowly descended back to Geralt. Luckily I did not die from this glitch. Aside from that I have gained some noticeable FPS, and the alternate controls feel a lot better especially underwater.

Attached image of the cam glitch I experienced. Side note: Looks like print screen works now :)

Combat feels improved with the new movement system, its more responsive and the targeting is noticeably A LOT better. You can pin alchemy and crafting diagrams so you can see what you need to buy at the shop (only pin one at a time). There's a tab separate for books and letters, it'll also notify you if you've read them or not. Usable items now weigh nothing, plus there's a stash and they're all connected, so you don't have to travel to other regions if you stored something there.

Roach won't stop so abruptly either and Nvidia Hairworks seems to have been optimized. Personally though, I've had performance issues, others have had improvements, you might wanna wait for an update like me from Nvidia first (if you've got one of their GPUs), otherwise I'd say give it a shot, since you can rollback to 1.06 easily, I think?

Hickory: No it won't. If you close the error dialog, the game quits. Leave the dialog open.
And if you don't windows can kill the process anyway.
Depends on mod you used, thought.

I haven't understand what the new movement option is all about.
New movement style reduced "lag" and it's MUCH better. I tried running around some narrow areas and it's finally manageable to stay on path. Pitty it took so long. I dislike when "realism" adds unhealthy dose of frustration instead of fun and depth to the game.

Well yes. The obvious and sensible thing to do is remove the mod and wait for it to be updated, as I already stated.
I have a huge loss of frames and I don't know why. I tried to tweak again everything, but I still have 7-11 fps in Skellige, Kaer Trolde. But I know it's a different place from Velen; less grass, less trees and so on. It's like you can't have a performance boost from lowering settings.

elldaz: I have this issue to and Hickory is right, do not close the dialogue box and the game will play.
Thank you so much I would close the window when it would open so the game never started, but now cuz of you I left it alone and It worked!

I'm in the same boat. I've lost all performance on anything more then Off/Low running a 290X and 1.06 I was running in the 50-70fps range with Med/High settings.

1.07 is unplayable for me and I put in a Support Ticket. I don't know how to rollback to 1.06 but I may have to look it up if this doesn't get fixed.
