I would love to see a remaster of this game. It didn't look to good even back then. But it brought a lot of excitement with its car chases. I have an imprinted memory of one, when I jumped on the hill right before a tram. The tram kept moving and the cops chasing me run straight into it. Just like from a movie!
I played this game as a kid on my PlayStation 1. Now that I’m all grown up, I want a GOG release so I can replay it and finally pass the parking garage tutorial after all these years.

The game was good for its time. Was all the action movies rolled into 1 game. Then they tried to be gta n messed up. This needs a real remaster with updated graphics and drive g engine. The open world with no lines or GPS, just you and the map. I played a lot of hours in this game as a kid.

It was such a memorable game. I was in my early teens and picked this game up in one of those spinning trays full of discounted games that they had back then. It's the only game I ever played where I gave up because I couldn't figure out what to do! Months later, with some help from an online walkthrough, I finally beat the parking lot mission and oh man was it ever fun! Just driving around was enjoyable enough. The missions were tough but not impossible. Very original and it didn't feel repetitive. And the filming! I spent hours editing my epic jumps over cars and perfect drifts. So much fun... I would love to make my son try it!
I love the first quest with the perking lot it was so memorable. I played it with my dad all the time and played over 100 hours because i had so fun driving in this game omg my childhood game. And i have the original for pc but it doesnt work on windows 11. Thats why i hope you bring the game back again. ;)

The game does exist on pc. But needs much work to get it to play on modern machines. However the PS1 still works, with emulators. Something about the simplicity of the game makes it a unique experience.

I played this game and loved it. Had an issue with the last level; think it was called the Presidents Run. Anyway, I tried maybe a dozen times. Couldn't get past it, so I called GT Interactive hoping to get a cheat code or something. Can not remember the guys name who answered, but he had a part in creating the game. Had a long talk on what I loved about Driver, and he spoke of the fun as well as pride he had in creating Driver. I never got that cheat code, but a dozen more reloads and I made it. Great memories!

This game must be remastered or remade as soon as possible. it is one of the best driving games ever. It is very addictive and fun to play. The best part is the collision or crashes with the cops

Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.

Jet Set Radio Future
Jet Set Radio FutureJet Set Radio Future is a video game developed by Smilebit and is the sequel to Jet Set Radio. Similar to the original, it depicts a future Tokyo where freedom of expression is outlawed. The user plays a character in the GG's, a gang of in-line skating graffiti artists who skate around Tokyo covering up rival gangs' graffiti, knocking over Rokkaku police, and dancing to the electric soundtrack. The game uses a cel-shaded style of animation, and has been widely acclaimed for its unique music style, detailed art, and gameplay. Though the game is set in the future, its style and content incorporates many aspects of 1980's old school hip hop culture, as well as 1990's J-pop culture.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
