There are limited instances where political affiliation is a protected class, but it is generally only in workplaces that are part of the government. Race and gender are who you are. They are both protected classes. Conservatives or Liberals are not protected classes. Believing that someone rigged an election isn't a religious belief (regardless of how cult-like major parties have become, particularly here in the US). Your political opinion does not put you in a protected class. Religion is protected. Political affiliation and political activity are not.

Of course, you not being an American (or at least in the US at this time) may take issue with it, and that's fair. I'm not familiar with the law of your country, and I can't argue Russian law intelligently.
